The Royals.....pffttt...
Maybe we should have a wager to see who is higher on the ladder at the end of the year.
Ive still got the CHAD:D

hey hey, I'm a Claremont boy myself! Have they moved to the show grounds yet?

Pitty the WAFL isn't as stong as the SANFL here. I've really enjoyed going to watch the Roosters since I moved to SA!

I know he has a lot of fans on this board, so I thought you would be interested that he is up my way playing for Moama now. There was a piece about him in the Shepp news the other day and has won the respect of everyone by the way he went about his preseason and led by example. Played his first game yesterday I think, and will let you know how he went on Monday when the Shepp news writes it up.
In other news, my team just signed a new recruit waiting clearance - SEAN CHARLES :D Won't exactly be his old playing weight one would think..

Whyman back in the bush and fully enjoying it
By Ashleigh Williamson
Djaran Whyman
Djaran Whyman is enjoying
being back in a country
environment to play football.
The former Echuca junior
has come a long way in the
past six years.
Whyman was 19 when he
was rookie listed by Hawthorn
in 2002, but soon
returned to play country
footy later that year.
After a couple of seasons
with North Ballarat in the
VFL, the pacy forward found
himself on North Melbourne’s
rookie list in 2006
and after a solid season with
its VFL affiliate Port Melbourne
he was promoted to
its senior list last year.
He made his senior debut
against Melbourne in round
16 and played two more
matches against Hawthorn
and Brisbane before being
delisted at the end of the
year.
There was conjecture
about where Whyman
would end up this season,
but he’s happy to have
found his home at Moama.
‘‘I’m really excited about
pulling on the boots with
Moama, it’s good to get
back to the country,’’
Whyman said.
‘‘I always wanted to come
back and play country football
and when I got in contact
with Moama they were
really professional and the
club is looking to move forward
and I want to help
them do that.’’
Now 24, Whyman is currently
undertaking a fouryear
building apprenticeship
and is enjoying his time
with the Magpies.
‘‘I’ve played a bit of footy
and there’s a lot of good
young kids that want to learn
and I’m happy to pass some
knowledge on,’’ he said.
‘‘I’ll probably spend most
of my time up forward this
year and Ben Mason is the
forwards coach, but he’s let
me have some input and
I’ve taken it upon myself to
help out where I can.’’
Whyman said he was
grateful to have had an
opportunity to play AFL
football, but is now looking
forward to enjoying having a
kick in the country.
‘‘I’m happy to have had
that chance to have played
those three games and no
one can take that away from
me,’’ he said.
‘‘This will be the first year
I’ve played country footy
since I left to go to Box Hill
and my family and friends
live in the area, so I’ll be
able to spend more time
with them which is good.’’

Still don't know why he was De-listed.
And I still don't know why we picked up Sam Power. While we are at it why did we ever pick up Fat Lance or Shane Harvey or DMac or insert name here.

I know why we picked up Jon Hay however. Because Shannon Watt and Leigh Brown could hold up a key defensive post and we desperately need a full back with size.

So at the minute we have 2 193+cm players playing on the wings and the flanks and have 1 189 and 1 190cm players playing key position.

So Glad for the Madness.:thumbsu:

A big pre-season from him, and I'm not sure he wouldn't have been a half decent addition to our current midfield rotation.

Still remember the chatter here when he was finally named. Unmitigated hype. Do I remember right that it was essentially Lindsay and Flash coming on so quickly that stamped his papers?

Bye ***.

North BF and over rating players is pretty iconic.
Some names in here though, Jesus. Sam Power 🤣

we're addicted to listing the worse of two brothers. Sam Power, Brent LeCras, Joel Tippett, Ben McKay, Lachie Young... surprised we never tried to pick up Brett Goodes or Kris Pendlebury
