Good to see smack stand up. I also thought he had some ability but didn't seem capable of putting it together. Though its likely a once off , very happy for him.

Really impressive game from McKernan. If he could have kept his kicking on target, should have kicked about 6 but still the best game we've had from him in the seniors and against a very good opponent in Taylor. He has 3 games til the bye before Daniher may be available. Lets see him prove that he deserves to have a spot in our team.

One thing I've noticed this year is he has really cut down the stupid frees against from years prior.

Might need to put him on a proper contract if he keeps this up.
I reckon a two year deal on the senior list ( with performance clause to trigger 3rd year) is about right . Word from the club is that he is in fine physical form and can play for a few more years yet.
