5 kicks 3 handballs 2marks 1 goal
Played forward he's at least 4-6 weeks away from a solid fitness level for AFL .
How did he go in the VFL? The write up is a bit sh*t and doesn’t say much. Anyone know his stats and how he ran out the game? Is it time to bring him in against the Dogs and see if he’s ready to prove himself?

Noticed a few stints starting in the midfield as well (but drifted back forward after the initial bounce and clearances)
Looked dangerous but like you said still a few weeks off fitness wise

Aarts was probably spent in that moment and didn’t have to fuel to catch Gawn. Stack will probably get a game in a month or earlier.
when has aarts ever caught someone? for riolis faults/inconsistency, he generally at least gets a shot from catching a bloke htb every few weeks or so. I dont think aarts has ever got a goal from a ball that he hasnt either marked or which has fallen at his feet

Gawn is very quick once he gets going. Very few players are chasing him down once he is running at full speed. Aarts deserves criticism based on his form but criticising him over Gawn running away from him shows a lack of understanding of opposition players.

send him down to the woolami sand dunes to put in some yards 3 days a week with a decent back pack on. That 4-6 will more likely turn into 1-2
