these things never work. indigenous and snubbed at the draft

waste of time. IT NEVER WORKS.

can have all the talent in the world but never has an aboriginal with commitment/family issues that has missed the draft made it

why? should be a simple afl press release from Patrick Keane with a list of all approved players picked up, including ss

All tweets of that matter now come from AFL House and not Patrick Keane.

He's shifted roles (don't know what) so he's no longer the go to tweeter for such information.

iirc the club has until March to announce Sydney Stack a Richmond, AFL (rookie) listed player. To see him train a bit and make sure he is pretty sane

more enthusiastic Tigers fans when he is not announced officially @ 9am DEc1

This explains about the new rule for delisted/retired players (Clark/Mumford), then the nondrafted kids.
---------------------
Previously listed AFL footballers no longer have to nominate for the draft and can sign with their club of choice as a Category A rookie between December 1 and March 15.

The only exceptions are those players who retire or delist themselves.

In those cases, they must nominate for that year's draft and be overlooked – or sit out an AFL season – to be eligible for the SSP.

The same goes for players who have never played at the highest level, but nominated for that year's draft and didn't find an AFL home.

They, too, become eligible for the following SSP, although if they still miss out they must nominate for the draft again the next year.

-----------------------

Now becomes a " is he worth the risk."

Simple, he trains with us and if he looks like he's worth it then we rookie him. If not then thanks for coming.

Think it’s the best scenario for both parties

He may spend a couple of weeks down here and realise the demands of being on an afl list doesn’t suit him and he can make that decision without knowing he is contracted and needs to go through the process of formally “retiring “ and the scrutiny that comes along with that media wise

Anyone who is down at Punt road for training this Monday will be able to say if Stack is there. Pretty much answers all the questions.
have it on good authority that stack knocked back our proposal and will instead stay in wa and try to get drafted in the 2019 draft

No one knocks back an opportunity to play AFL, to just try there luck again in the following draft. What a crock of shit lol! I mean how dumb could you be. 18 teams pass on you in the national draft and then the rookie draft and then you knock back an offer for a rookie spot?

And whos to say if he nominates for next years draft and we pick him then hahahahaha! What has he gained?
