Wasn’t just him. Why doesn’t anyone get stuck into CCJ?
It’s not kebab gate in isolation it’s what happened afterwards when he was back home in wa and got busted fighting at a night spot when he was meant to be isolating

CCJ ****ed up but just put his head down and got to work

I know that, but that part didn’t cost the club staff or anything did it? Isn’t that what posters are bitching about him for?

Not really sure but I think the fine was 50 k and another infringement and it doubled so the club had to pay 100k and that came of our salaries. Then they put that soft cap so we lost 2 assistants as could not afford to pay them, we could pay them but you know what I mean. So Stack cost us more or less 75k and ccj 25k
I may be wrong this brain doesn't function as it used to. :'(

Did anyone see what happened in the VFL? Was he reported?

love tap to the bread basket…player gif up quickly…they got 50m etc….nothing that would warrant suspension…

but it us….and it’s Stack…so the biased pieces of shite at the VFL/AFL will factor that in to their decision making

Fingers crossed they let it go. Be great to have him in the seniors next week.

There was a ball up on the wing, I think Stacks opponent had been harassing him because he had plenty of the ball by that stage, Stack give him a whack in the guts or ribs and he went down like he was shot, it didn’t look like a hard hit but he must have got him in the right spot because it definitely hurt him and the trainer came out to help him.

Sounds as though he may be suspended just when he’s ready to be picked.
He’ll always be a hothead and opposition will target him for that reason.
But he has undeniable talent, ffs for people to question that is ridiculous he’s shown it at the highest level and not for just one game.
The club would have cut him if they didn’t rate him so highly

Brooke cotchin strike 1 was 45k. 25 suspended. So technically The kebab fine was 55k. Stacks portion 27.5 K.
So the net 100k cost jobs. How many jobs in 100k? 2 maximum probably.
Then COVID reductions of AFL contribution to clubs meant a cut of a player or 2. Then COVID has probably meant shedload of employees ended up on jobkeeper. Stack continually fing up in WA just meant we didn't have access to a potential top 22 player for even longer than CJ.
I'd retain stack next year. But if the club are angry at him he'll be delisted.

Stack will probably get a week and then should play seniors the next week. His fitness is fine now, he is class above. He has obviously put his head down and is getting the rewards. What more could anyone want.... he cost us this or that, who cares, we have a player who could at worst be a solid player, at best a star, yet some on here don't want to let go. We want him in 2022, he needs to play now.

It's funny after the Williamstown game Xavier was asked about Stack and said something to the effect of.

"Dimma wanted to chuck stack into the back line because when he first came to the club he played his best footy there and he definitely looks like a natural in that position."

No.Shit.

Makes you wonder why a decision to move Stack back to the HBF takes so long when the logic is plain as ****ing day that it's best position to most average fans.

Considering we need to rebuild salvaging Stack as a gun if he fulfilled his potential would be a big win and great value.
Talent wise Stacky is a Top 5 pick running around in our twos. His 2019 season was something else. If we can keep him fit and get him firing he will be a huge bonus.

The Nick Vlastuin conundrum.

Let's turn him into an inside mid!

Or we could accept that he's a gun defender....

I've always seen him as the perfect Houli replacement. He's got the perfect combination of hardness, courage and creativity with ball in hand that makes him we'll suited to a backline role
