There was a bit of Tony Free in the way he attacked that ball at half back cleaning up 2 players in his wake. Highlight of the night. Rioli putting his body on the line when he got crunched was the other. Once you do those things and get up and play on nothing can hurt you. Sparked Rioli's average season. Stack has 200 games all over him.

Rioli was tremendous,Stack sensational,both played similar styles of footy on the day.

His future is in the midfield IMO. Such a smooth mover but hard at it. Will read the ball so well at stoppages.

I was thinking the same thing. In time (when the coaches think he's ready) it will be very exciting to see him roll through the midfield.....

Not going to lie, I was questioning whether Stack would be ready for AFL but his performance was superb. Tough, clean and generally used the ball well. Think we've found a keeper here.

Stack has class. The way he moved and handled the ball was top dollar. Good to see him given a chance and shows sometimes you have to back the young talent

If the first kick had’ve hit the target
no turnovers, no clangers.
I liked the way he didn’t try and be a hero after the goal, sideways kicks unless he was sure be could get the ball forward.
And you know if he has to bite the bullet and go and get the ball, he’s already biting on it

Absolutely loved what we got to see from him, was really a shining light in a poor game.

Reminded me of Milera from the Crows with how he floats around the backline. He is also very skilled and poised.

seriously as impressive a performance as weve seen from a first year draftee this year in the afl. Hard as a cats head, plenty of footy iq in that he knows when to go and when to not, skill, poise, hes got it

he certainly lived up to his reputation of giving it a crack. showed up a few of his older more experienced team mates with his attack at the ball and the man. a very impressive debut.

I thought he was great in his first game. He is quick and evasive. He put "small steps"Ellis, mark-off, butlerdidit and cantstandya to shame...The passage of play where he stepped through traffic outside our defensive fifty in the last qtr was awesome. His goal was pretty good too. He is gonna be some player! Great get!
