His courage is admirable for someone of his age.He took on Mumford last week and Mumford is a massive unit.He was clearly embarrassed about not being drafted and is making a statement. The statement is 'you judged me too quick and have missed out on a future star of the game- deal with it ' . Also ' I don't think that well behaved white kid you drafted instead of me is going to be as good as me mothalickas'

Forget the bump ... forget the torp ... forget the speky ... look at 1.40 on this vid ...

Grimes spoils ... stack swollowes the ball with one grasp ... inbeween 3 openents ... calmly does a 180 ... waits for Grimsy to clear the pack ... loooooops a perfectly executed handball over a dees players head ... hits Grimsey at full speed on the tit ..and we r away

You can’t train that ... you need to have vision and know how players move and be 3 steps ahead of those around you ...

I hope all goes well for this kid in the future ... seems to have all the traits to make it ...

From an opposition supporter, this kid is an absolute ripper. Have to admit that bump on Viney was excellent and that mark last night was quality as well. I've seen all his games so far and I have to say I really like watching him play. His individual moments really standout. I wish he was at my club. Credit to you guys for taking a punt on him, the early signs look really promising. Good luck with the rest of your season!

Sydney Stack has me thinking he is a mix between Byron Pickett & Andrew McLeod. The mind boggles what this kid is capable of. On the post game radio last night (SEN), they reported that Peter Sumich said that he is the most gifted footballer to come out of the WA junior system that he had ever seen.

Despite the knocks on him & his apparent commitment issues, I find it amazing that no team even risked a rookie spot on him. All in all, RFC are the lucky recipients via that SSP rule (or whatever it is). SEN also said that his 1 year rookie contract will undoubtedly be significantly increased before too long. I bet there are 2 western based clubs kicking themselves over losing this guy. Perhaps Harley Bennell has put them off taking a punt.

I wonder how Jack Viney pulled up this morning. Hopefully, his old man Todd, told him that 'in my day, we copped these every week'. Suck it up Princess.

Came off to a standing ovation usually reserved for the big 4 , time to start talkin the NEXT 4 homeys
Time to sign this guy to another 2-3 years IMO

My fav play of his by a street. It was amazingly calm and the touch that handball takes to pull off is all talent.

Gonna be an absolute star.

Luke English was a big wrap for stack told the club they should pick him up and that he’s a jet and future all Australian and that he’s a great guy to have around a club

Kid has the same birthday as me, how can one date bring so much joy into the world?
Whats so special about you mate?
We all have a Birthday.:p

My thoughts exactly. All I could see was McLeod last night. Love that he is some
campaigner in him as well.

Compared himself to Byron Pickett after the game according to Riewoldt.
The way he was gliding around half back with the ball tucked under 1 arm, immediately reminded me of a 300 game, dual l norm smith medalist from Adelaide.

This. Said it watching the Vfl pracco before Rd 1. He reminds me of McLeod.
