You'd think in a thin draft and not too many league players jumping up, both RCD and SS would at least be seriously considered as rookies. Usually tho, the club intimates that when they're delisted, to ward off other clubs and reassure the players. Suspect both have their papers stamped which is a shame as I saw the upside in both of them.

Or maybe the club has taken the approach of looking at how they adapt to not having any surety in their futures and seeing if they knuckle down and do things they might not have been fully committed to doing while under the guidance of the club. Maybe it's doing extra sessions that they wouldn't normally have done, like getting their skinfolds at their lowest possible levels or improving their fitness bases

To be honest, everyone is looking for a reason as to why SS was delisted...

But at the end of the day, he had 4 years on the list to transition into a professional footballer, and he didn't.

There's no doubting his ability, so this falls solely on SS's shoulders.


And if I was being harsh, to all the people trying to find excuses as to why it wasn't him, is probably the reason he's in this position, everyone making excuses for him instead of just calling it as they see it. In his eyes, why change, as it's never his fault
