Did he need to? The entire interview basically spells out he hated the experience. North tried to accommodate him by allowing him a more relaxed work/life balance and playing him up forward to get him to enjoy the game.
Does not thank or acknowledge the club at all.
Yep, sounds like we picked one a bit too green. That's on us, not Red.Imagine potting a 17 y/o kid for not liking his experience playing a new sport in a new country. Get a grip
fu** the campaigner
It didn’t work out for both parties but Eric Wallace is twice the human you are (literally) and it’s only for no reason other than being humble about the opportunity
Get a grip. Kids 18 taken half way across the world to play a game he’s never even seen. Honestly I don’t think I could do it in reverse and I’m 34.
Good on him for trying
Why lie if he hated the experience?
As I said, we are being super precious here. If he hated the experience, he hated it. No need to mince words or mislead others.

Murphy will be remembered in the same way Connor Meredith is remembered. He's also a 25 year old man with a bit of independence and life experience who'd lived on his own previously not a 17 year old boy from a rural part of Ireland where the average summer temp is under 15 C.

And then there’s the way Eric Wallace gets remembered.
Ones a shinboner because he bought into the place and the other is already irrelevant. That’s my point.
Wasn’t intended to sound harsh.Starting your post "fu** the campaigner" doesn't really carry the point too well but I do agree that Eric Wallace's attitude was legendary. Should hire him as a US scout or something down the line.
