he plays with intent and is often in very dangerous positions around the groundI'll gladly eat my worlds if that's how he is going to play.
I thought he was going to be another of these structurally redundant Mitch Brown, Liam McMahon small talls who specialise in getting out the back to score without providing any of the physical presence you want from tall forwards. Like those guys, Edwards is obviously a smart footballer who knows his way around a ground.
But the physical stuff, that's next level, exactly what is needed.
Yesterday struck me as another low intensity special in which it was really difficult to get an accurate read on what our players were doing. Not for Edwards.

I think a Buckenara type especially if can take some big grabs as he did while at Swans and in that pre season game vs Doggies last year. Hopefully is okay - looked annoyed to be taken off.Not quite a KPF, not quite a small.
He's also a difficult match-up for the opposition.
mature rookie pathway too. Good call.I’m not really sure how to describe this, but I would describe him as very Geelong medium defender-y.
Rangy, long arms, blonde hair, doesn’t look like much but continues to be in the right place at the right time and execute his skills with a minimum of fuss.
It’s like when you get refused drinks. It’s a No win situationi liked how he was really angry and frustrated about going off for the concussion test but still had the wherewithal to not cause a scene
You wouldn’t think it to look at him….but he’s pretty unconditional in his approach to man and footy.I'll gladly eat my worlds if that's how he is going to play.

The player who elbowed him should be on report though. That was gross.Funny, the AFL can let Jeremy Cameron run around clearly impeded but do nothing.
Yeah, protect the head but this one they got wrong. Club should put in a complaint.
was this the late front on contact shirtfront from John Noble? The player who elbowed him should be on report though. That was gross.
Not sure who it was but it was late and blatant. Edwards walked away from it, luckily.was this the late front on contact shirtfront from John Noble?
just seen this and its a pretty ordinary act
