Never not kicked multiple goals except for a game where he did his ACL in the first 5 mins > wing > half back line > dropped.
Day-Wicks and Durham can both do this, both run all day and both will defend their wing. I'd have them on rotation. The reason is simple. We desperately need someone on wing who can take a mark.
Did not work and cost us today but we are at a stage where we do need to try things.
Insanity will be going back to the same well too many times.
Well, he played a bad defensive game. It's clearly his fault.boggles the mind that he’s dropped

Interesting way to go about saving your coaching career... play people out of position, then move them all back a few weeks later and look like a genius.Playing him out of position and then dropping him when he doesn't perform there, righto. Over to you Nguyen in the ruck, you better perform or you're gonski!
By extension he was dropped to keep Cox inEdwards was dropped for May, not Perkins
Very very unluckyboggles the mind that he’s dropped
Like Nguyen, Edwards plays like a bloke desperate for an AFL career. Perkins shouldn’t be picked ahead of him until he shows the same.
Think its as simple as we rate A.May more and hes a big guy down the line compared to Edwards, who is Nik Cox in the forward line, albeit both can coexist thereHe was also be of the worst offenders as far as forward pressure / defence and his confidence looked a bit down.
Maybe just hitting a little flat spot in form.
I reckon he is a good tackler and seems to apply decent pressure. He was also be of the worst offenders as far as forward pressure / defence and his confidence looked a bit down.

I found footage of our coaching staff deciding he should randomly play on a wing today for absolutely no reason:

The basic question is will it hurt Edwards long term?
No.
He came up against a side he knew would restrict our kick mark game so he looked for an option on the wing that could help.
It didn’t work but it is not simply bad thinking.
Edwards out of the Forward line didn’t cost us 14 goals.
You try and find solutions.
Edwards will be fine.
People are carrying on like we have wrecked the bloke and cost us a top 4 spot.
Rebuilding is about finding out shot. Like Roberts in the midfield. Did not work so moved him back. Still have a midfield issue. They tried to add hard nut.
I hope they keep looking at options.
God knows we need them.
TBH….i don’t really care about structures.I think Perkins is picked because we want someone at stoppage to assist
People are already saying were too tall and big
It would need to be Edwards over either Bryan, Cox or AMay
Perkins has cared the last 3 weeksTBH….i don’t really care about structures.
Find me 23 blokes who’ll put their head over the footy and run themselves ragged every week….then I’ll worry about structures.
Edwards plays like he cares, Perkins does not.
Let’s see.Perkins has cared the last 3 weeks
He may well be knowing his career is on the line, hes been excellent and looked a different player
Remember he had no PS, so theyve pushed him back to get the touch and run in his legs
I hope it transitions to AFL, but for that to occur, he needs 40% cbas because his 70% over the last 3 VFL have been the best ive ever seen him
Perkins really wasn’t that impressive in the VFL. He has more natural ability than most at that level but he shows the same faults that has shown at AFL level. Has he gained confidence by touching the ball a bit more? Maybe, but I’m not holding my breath waiting for him to suddenly become a contributor when the heat and pace ramp up again.Perkins has cared the last 3 weeks
