He did also mention Tyson Stengle. So we finally draft a specialist small forward only to find he wants to be a mid
Does this make the RHJ extension odd then?I think he'll be an upgrade on Konstanty.
Konstanty's value to the team is what he does without the ball with his pressure. Banch offers that but is better and cleaner with ball in hand.
I'm absolutely convinced we need both to be playing in the same side.
I am not sure RHJ makes it, but if he does it will be as an outside mid/winger rather than small forward IMODoes this make the RHJ extension odd then?

We've won 2 games. Finding blokes to make way really shouldn't be an issue.
It was already odd prior to thisDoes this make the RHJ extension odd then?
Payne's got a decent set of mitts on him when the ball comes his way. Agree he still doesn't find it enough thoughThanks mate.
Payne is the slowest of burns right now, but I like him and think there's something there. The problem is you can only support so many small pressure forwards who don't also provide something else such as using the footy well, kicking goals or being flexible in terms of the role you can perform. Payne and Konstanty in many ways are currently offering similar things - they're basically pressure forwards with not a lot else - this is still valuable, but you can't have two of those in the same side. Banch at least has the ability to play higher up the field and uses it well by foot.
It's odd as Payne was finding it 25+ times a game and hitting the scoreboard before being drafted as a mid-forward, but it seems we've got a pretty set hierarchy when it comes to midfield minutes. It could be we don't think he has the tank, or we're dogged about him being a small forward and nothing else.
You gotta shake your head don't ya. WTF was that about?Does this make the RHJ extension odd then?
Poor Windows. Is he our Hecker or Tranter?Looks alert, excited and enthused about coming to Arden Street.
The bizarro version of Geordie Payne.

And there's every chance that could happen. But I'm sure we'll be able to generate 12-13 reasons as to why that happened.5/6 small forwards on the list now. It would be diabolical if all of them are gone in 2 years.
This was the only part i was surprised with. Cant imagine he had us over a barrell. Its a remarkable show of faith. Hope it is fruitfulCan't think of a single reason why his contract extension needed to be made before the end of the season.

If he doesn't kick 5 and lay 10 tackles with 20 possessions, delist.
That’s what Kayne Turner eventually got to before North gave him the chop.
We draft Jason #1 - comms failure as he sits looking about as excited someone waiting for a train to go between 2 city loop stationsWe were assured at the time that 'he just looks like that' and after a year I think I can safely say that this is indeed the case.
That hasn't stopped Harvey Thomas (176cm) or Darcy Jones (175cm) from GWS being effective.Promising reports that he can run all day and is skilled by foot. At his size, let’s see if he can stick a tackle in the big leagues when everyone is a little bit bigger and stronger.
