That's a worry because I can't think of a single youngish socialist in the Dems with any kind of profile.

Most of "da yoof" in the party have joined post third-way politics of Clinton, and are probably proponents of that failed bullshit.

Not many young Sanders types around.

President Clooney would be a chance too.
My thoughts exactly!

If Dems push through another establishment candidate then they're asking to get ******. America's crying out for an actual for the people anti-establishment left leaning party right now

I dunno if Biden would go again but if he's healthy and he does then I reckon he'd hard to stop

You seem to believe the vicious capitalist lie that Bernie will die one day.
Don't get me wrong, I feel the Bern big time but 80 for president is really pushing it, particularly when his agenda requires a two term effort to implement

Does Trump ever reflect on what he says?
Latest example on court case:
There is the law and then there is common sense.
I must remember this next time I get a speeding ticket travelling 5km over the limit and no traffic.
He doesn't even know what he's signing.

As opposed to forcing chinese military off islands? Is trump doing that with discount vouchers to sizzler or a free set of ginzu steak knives?
I don't understand the context of this exchange, however to coin a phrase, there is no moral equivalency between the DIY islands, and the Syria conflict
If I was Lord of the universe I would have enforced a no fly zone, eliminated anything foreign that stayed into it, Russian without doubt. The conflict should have been taken to Putin from day one of his intervention. The coalition failed. At that point Putin's Russia was exceptionally thin, and he himself was in all sorts of shit domestically. Had he engaged he would not be around today. This should have been the moment of some very positive thoughtful, and righteous aggression from many, including America.
**** the islands That one is just a regional Asian game of Hold'em. Any western nations that get involved in armed conflict there would be insane. This is what the Asian nations do. It goes on for 6 or 700 years, this way that way, you give me this I give you that, we live, we hate, we smile. it is nothing. Any foreign involvement should be mediation, and observation... and that's it. No flags. No military...
If Trump thinks conflict with China is a necessary part of a wider trade scenario, the generals need to inject.
To me, staying in TPP would piss the Chinese off more... and given the US some leverage. Why defend some BS non event to rile China and pull out of TPP... it is incongruous. Don't make sense.

Bernie has a broad appeal and is above most attack because of his apparent moral and ethical invincibility... The best they got was his defence of gun ownership in the woody state of Vermont... (non issue), but he's too old of body, and when he's not a Jew he's an atheist. (Which on the upside, without stereotyping, gives him a dogged relentless resilience to verbal attack. And has an incredibly acerbic game. Huge regret we didn't get to see him go toe to toe with Trump. He is without doubt the hardest politician in the States. Fwiw, everything he did with the dnc, primaries etc., was for the good of the party. He's honest and brave. God bless him. It was very hard to watch him swallow it up. A bit like Donald Pleasance in The Great Escape. Brave, self-effacing, tragic, honourable. Blind as a bat.

Voting for Pocahontas on the other hand would leave many feeling like they've just shagged Mrs. Robinson.
The 2017 version... not the 1968 version....
She would be mauled. To much hippie.

The only war China would win is a war of attrition. And due to the fact that the Chinese army is particularly soft, as a consequence of decades of single child policy and the ensuing mummies' boy culture, they would be mowed down in frightening numbers. They might eventually win, but the cost to the people would be impossible to bear, and therefore probably never going to happen.
Plus, they don't want war. No-one wants perpetual conflict. Except the NRA and affiliates.
China would fold.

Op was bitching that klary would shoot down ruskies in syria, yet they somehow.think trump.can force the chinese off their islands without force?

Getting rid of the chinese by forcing them off the islands was one of the first policy aims mentioned in the confirmatiom hearings, and thats onky happening with a hot war in the scs. The notion of trump the pacifist peacemaker and hillary the bloodthirsty warmonger is laughable

Trumps a bully. his targets so far have been soft ones for domestic political grandstanding

(Including our PM and by extension, us, sad to say)

Trump tweets complaining about retailer dropping daughters lines.
Trying to use bully tactics like he did in business under guise of being president. Retailers stuck between a rock and hard place

As bad as Trump appears, am I the only who shakes even more thinking of the prospect of Pence as President if Trump for some reason was no longer there?
If Pence were president i think the world would be more stable/safer, but the American people would be sent straight back to 1955. Win some, lose some.

I enjoyed seeing Spicer defending Trump for this. Apparently they are being persecuted for the fathers policies, when it has nothing to do with them. I must have been dreaming that she trades on the Trump name, and delirious when i thought i saw hundreds of pictures and stories about her meeting with political leaders alongside her father....

Also, in further hilarity.
