As with all disciplinary action the focus is on improving behaviour.

Define "democracy" and then explain how it describes Trump being president despite getting fewer votes than Clinton.

There is an agreed system to elect a president. I don't dispute that and it's clear that Trump won under that system. Again, I don't dispute that. But did that system produce a "democratic outcome"? I think that is less clear.

There were 4 million votes for Clinton in California that were basically meaningless but 80,000 votes for Trump across Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania that determined the outcome. Is that "democratic" or merely the idiosyncrasy of the system?
