And probably some big companies involved with the minerals Afghanistan has and the opium trade.
The first 3 years of the occupation was around noble causes, the remaining 17 years was around wealth transferal from government to the private sector.

Rand Paul, Trump arse licker and vaccine denier has been caught. His wife bought shares in a company selling a treatment for Covid, then he was the only senator to vote against Covid mitigation strategies, and has campaigned relentlessly against both the vaccines, and masks.

Oh, and declaring the shares, like he is supposed to, slipped his mind. Just forgot, oops.

The guy that doesn't like vaccines, or lockdowns, or masks makes money from people getting Covid.

Trumpers going to Trump I guess.

Darwin award nominee? Problem is that she may drag a dozen with her
if they are of her ilk…

How about we look at the Afghan situation differently.

The Afghan military had excellent weapons, outnumbered the Taliban 4:1, held the dirt and were backed by the people….The average American citizen there thought that the Afghan army would at least put up a decent fight, so the people stayed rather than leaving before the American troops left.

How a military government failed so badly, so quickly is the issue…. This is the government that should have been setup to succeed and defeat the Taliban…. This is the biggest failing and it goes back to both sides in US politics not understanding what they needed to do in Afghanistan. As a former VP, does Biden deserve as much blame as the former presidents, probably.
I’d love to hear more about Trump’s deal with the Taliban where he cut out the Afghan government for the withdrawal…

Details of the 110 page judgement by Judge Porter against Lin Wood and 8 other lawyers in the attempt to get the election overthrow are coming out.

Lin Wood behaves like Trump, the case was run like Trump ran government. Lie after lie, a barrage of lies. So many lies that they are not dealt with individually. You haven't finished dealing with Yesterday's lies before getting swamped by today's lies.

The Porter judgement goes through every claim and statement and destroys them.

They lied about their addresses.
They tweeted about the briefs they received, then claimed in court they never got them.
They said the never received material sent to the addresses they gave.
They produced experts that weren't, who made easily dis provable claims.
They lifted arguments straight from conspiracy sites, created by pretend lawyers and idiots, without getting anything.
They claimed serious illegalities such as postal votes without post marks, and postal voters who posted in person, despite it being specifically allowed in law in MI for postal votes to be handed in, and for people requesting postal ballets to vote in person instead.
110 pages rebutting lie after lie after incompetence. She shows their entire case to be nothing but political spin and bullshit, with nothing resembling any logic, legal reasoning or evidence.

They pay all costs.
They are required to not just attend legal studies to learn how to be a lawyer, but to prove they have done this.
All their names have been referred to state associations for investigation.

They were not working for Trump, but they were inspired by Trump, and they operate like Trump.

Another example of why, Never Trump.

Wait wait what?? There was a Taliban attack and people were killed while Trump was prez?

Did anyone call for him to resign? Mr PA? JackFlash?
It must be all under control as "Crazy Joe" has organised such a smooth exit. I wonder if the approved journalists will be allowed to ask any questions to the contrary? This nutcase must go!

The "anti-war" Trump fraud have revealed their fraud all along. It was a phony performance anyway given the fact Trump bombed more countries in 4 years than any previous president. And that record breaking number was flattering to him because he revoked a rule set in place by Obama for the Pentagon to release full details. So Trump's bomb count was far higher than the record he broke!

  • The judge agreed with Fox’s premise, adding that the network “persuasively argues” that “given Mr. Carlson’s reputation, any reasonable viewer ‘arrive with an appropriate amount of scepticism’ about the statements he makes.
And yet half of America still takes him seriously 🤷‍♂️

One less deplorable who thought he knew better than everyone else to worry about. In time you'd expect natural selection to weed out the majority of Trump supporters.

Do you worry about this?

Trump's really showing just how truly committed he is to the anti-war principles some ascribe to him.
Lies dam lies and statistics
The $83 billion figure — technically, $82.9 billion — comes from an estimate in the July 30 quarterly report by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) for all spending on the Afghanistan Security Forces Fund since the U.S. invasion in 2001, Kessler uses that report and another Government Accountability Office report to determine that the portion of that $82.9 billion spent on Afghan forces equipment equals “$24 billion over 20 years.”

Perhaps Trump's claims about the election are simply just another case illustrating his basic inability to count.
