Nope.

The US House Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Commercial, and Administrative Law ruled that Facebook, along with Google, Apple and Amazon, are monopolies that need to be broken up. So they acted against Trump to suck up to what they knew would be the likely incoming administration (and also the party far more likely to enforce antitrust legislation) to make dupes of liberals who think these giant companies, who have immense control and power over what information we are privy to, ought to be able to regulate themselves.

(We're also seeing here in Australia Google's capacity to stare down a Government trying to introduce a pretty minor level of regulation.)

Why "good to see"? And what happens when they use their great power to ensure the law of the land doesn't ever rule against them, that they don't get broken up or regulated in the way that any other monopoly of comparative size would or should.
Quite happy for google to f/ o - they refuse to pay tax

Rudy didn't lie in court about Dominion in case he lost his license to the Bar Association... Now Rudy is getting sued for $1.3 billion for lying about Dominion "out of court". What a moron.
Rudi and anyone who spoke about Dominion ie The Trumps, are screwed.
They will learn that you are accountable for your actions.
Early days.
You also have the DOJ investigation.

I wonder when the Trumpettes minus Melania and Baron flee to Russia.

Trump pretty much did what he said he would - that was his plan. He was hard on China and made sure the US got better trade deals out of it, withdrew troops from the Middle East that were fighting in Obama and Bush's wars, didn't start any new wars, encouraged incentives to keep manufacturing in the US, built the wall etc. Pre-Covid, he did an excellent job of growing their economy to record levels while also achieving record low black and Latino unemployment rates. That's an achievement that goes unnoticed because it was under a Republican president, and not a Democrat.

Trump's biggest downfall was his handling of Covid.

It's very interesting.

Either Rudy is

(a) dumber than a box of hair - as a US lawyer he'd understand defamation, so why throw in with the obvious grift, or
(b) corrupt - he's on Donald's hook for something, so he had to make those moronic statements and keep up appearances

This guy, whatever his politics, was supposedly a good lawyer once upon a time, and he made it to Mayor of New York. Leads me to think he can't be dumb, so he's being blackmailed?

Off top of my head they paid tax in Oz, Fox didn't

If anyone wants a long read, this is a fascinating collection of journalism that seeks to unravel the origins of Qanon & it’s part in transforming a a lifetime grifter, tax cheat, fraudster & associate of pedophiles into the savior of western civilization

Fake achievements aren’t impressive. GDP growth under Trump was slower than his predecessor, national debt higher, unemployment among black and Latino communities fell at a slower rate under Trump than his predecessor. All Trump did was not reverse a post-GFC trend that was already well underway by the time he took office,

You’ve been hoodwinked. Trump ran the last leg in a relay race and claimed every step he took was a personal milestone and new record, when reality is he ran the slower lap, but was part of a record breaking relay team.

Dumbshit dropped the baton before the finish line too and lost the race for everyone. Now unemployment is higher than when he took office, GDP growth lower, and lower job creation. He was a terrible president and the stress test of covid merely exposed how poor a leader he was.
Black and Latino unemployment rates were the lowest they've ever been under Trump's administration. Stock market levels grew to heights that could never be achieved under a Democrat leader, largely thanks to Trump's America-first stance. With Biden cosying up to China, expect a slower stock market recovery.

Unemployment rates have tanked everywhere since Covid, so of course unemployment rates were going to be higher than when he took office. What an idiotic comparison to make :$

He didn't really bring any significant number of troops home, but he did get the Defence Dep't to do some creative accounting.

He actually did start a couple of proxy "regime change" wars in South America.

And lost them both.
He began withdrawing troops and didn't start any new wars, a nice change for a US president. Biden's just another warmonger like Obama, Bush and Clinton sadly.

1. Despite the tariffs that Trump put on Chinese imports, trade with China went up because they aren't producing materials. America doesn’t make its own shoes. It doesn’t make some nuts and bolts or fasteners; it doesn’t make industrial things anymore because if money is to be made off an industrial company, it’s to buy and sell the company, not to make loans to increase the company’s production.

2. He didn't withdraw all troops, and he continued bombing 8 countries, including by proxy against Yemen via the Saudis.

3. The "wall" is a joke, didn't get anywhere near completion.

4. Economic reforms take years to come into effect. He was riding Obama's coattails, as unemployment was already going down before he took office.

Try again.

Trade between the two countries wasn't intended to reduce, it was about achieving a better outcome for Americans which it did. Trump fought hard to keep manufacturing jobs in the US, and we saw during the pandemic the importance of local manufacturing.

Not sure if you struggle with comprehension, but I didn't say he withdrew all troops. He began to withdraw troops. Of course, bombings continued as he inherited wars started by Obama and Bush.

The wall was built in high illegal transit zones, a wall was never going to be built along the entire border in one term.

Obama was riding the post-GFC wave. Trump accelerated it.

Also, Obama deported twice as many undocumented Mexican immigrants with a criminal record than Trump did.

So, what did Trump actually do that was any good?

Do you think trickle-down economics is good for society?
Democrat sanctuary cities played politics and refused to cooperate with Trump like they did with Obama. The Dems acted purely in spite for four years, and not as an America first party. Disgraceful, really.

He didn't really bring any significant number of troops home, he just shuffled them around and got the Defence Department to do some creative accounting.

He actually did start a couple of proxy "regime change" wars in South America (and even sent private mercenaries in, in one case).

And lost them both.

A great help to the millions and millions who can barely afford the basics of life, let alone shares.

Any Trumpist who has the gall to describe any other Americans as "disgraceful" has not only lost touch with reality, they are not even speaking English.

As I said, though, Americans didn't increase manufacturing, it's not the same as fighting to retain what was left. You still had people wearing MAGA hats made in China etc. He did not bring back industrial capitalism; he was a stooge for the corporate ruling class.

Right, but you acknowledge he continued the bombings, so yeah, a man of peace, right?

And now it's not going to built, period, which is great cause it was a waste of taxpayers money.

The only thing Trump accelerated is his demise.
