So why would any owner do business in a country that does not have currently have established factories, workers and government support to mass produce these cheap designer labels when the competition can out produce and out sell you to the point where it's no longer viable to do business anymore?

Other than boutique items or quality leather goods, you generally cannot compete with China currently. Would have thought somebody in the textile industry for more than 20 years would be more reasonable to condemn somebody for making fast fashion, cheap designer items in China where 99% of the competition does so.

And until you show me a valid receipt with ANY designer label item (not socks or underwear that is not ripped or stained) being sold in a Ross, Marshalls or TJ Maxx for $1 I'll call you out for being oblivious to more click bait false news.
Why would they choose to enter an industry where the profit is in overseas sweat shops?

They had that choice all along.

That book was written to boost the celebrity D.Trump image in the business world and sell copies.

People at the time lapped it up like it was Gordon Gekko himself on the cover.
Some people are still quoting from the book. Some people even recommend reading the book to somehow prove to doubters that Trump is the right man for this job. :D

Don't buy it m8....His policies alone thus far, suggest he's every bit a neo-con.

All his PACS are Zionist mate & if he truly was a revolutionary, then he'd of been assassinated already.

Just my take....Having said that, my naive belief in justice secretly hopes you're right, but I doubt he's really THAT intelligent.

Strikes me as yet another Hegelian dialectical ploy, of the creation of opposites to con the masses yet again.

Alex Jones for example, is actually owned & financed by Time Warner....He's a ruse deliberately planted, to discredit real conspiracies, in order to make all truthers look as mad & non-credible as he is.

Trump is mates with Giuliani & Silverstein....He's fully invested in the 'Muslims did it' Narrative....His ass was bought & sold years ago when the Wall street bankers bailed him out of Bankruptcy....Now it's his turn to deliver on the quid pro quo.

Doesn't mean he won't be overthrown or sacrificed, once he has done his job, whichcould be to produce the backlash we are seeing now.

Why?....When the dupe is working so well thus far.....He's a ratings dream.

Divide & conquer & deflect all attention away from whats actually taking place behind the scenes.

He didn't pick that dodgy neocon Elliott Abrams for deputy Secretary of State, but that may have been for personal reasons

Well it is somewhat concerning that there's so much hoo har about a travel ban, but aiming for war with Iran barely gets scrutiny. Lavrov has been quite critical of trumps aggression toward Iran, this has the potential to scupper any Russian Reconciliation. However it does make it appear that he is absolutely not in putins pocket.

Anyone who swallows the Russian narrative goo really is gullible....Not a single shred of evidence....Mere neo-con & C.I.A shenanigans, for Putin scuppering their plans in both Syria & Turkey.

Not to mention one ginormous deflection for the massive voter fraud, corruption & rigging at their own polls; by both sides of politics....That country is one farcical joke.

A serious statement guys. Trump has the ability to go down as the greatest president of all time........

Trump has two pathways, go down the route of doing everything negative he has stated and being bogged down in the senate and courts. If he does this, he will be remembered as the president most think he will become.

OR he could

set himself up to quit at the right time.

Let's face it, he's a businessman and doesn't really want the job.

if he put forward sensible bills to marry the US's declining power globally and post industrialisation he would probably fail like others before him but he would go out a champion. ie if he put forward sensible gun laws, 4 weeks compulsory annual leave and healthcare. He could then throw his hands up in the air and quit just before the the mid term elections.

This provides the perfect opportunity to exit, exit with a legacy of positive agenda and a taste of lost opportunity for the US.

Ego drives this man and there is nothing better for Trump than going out a champion and on his terms.

There is nothing in his statements or appointments to suggest any of this will happen.

100% agree

like I said, he could fail miserably by being bogged down by politics and courts or go out a champion.

By winning the election, he has achieved his goal politically and redeemed himself (in his mind) from the dressing down by Obama. I'm not sure how smart he actually is but I do know his ego is massive. Going out a champion would be a major victory for the guy.

I guess we will find out how smart he is or isn't over the next two years.

You may be right but perhaps we should ask ourselves how and why he got elected.
His opponent deserves the same title.
The US has some serious questions to ask and the nation needs to deal with the hand that has been dealt.
YEP....That's just what I've been doing these past 2 weeks.

How- Cheated/Rigged the election via jim-crowing & cross-checking 7.2 million votes off swing states.
Why-To divide the nation, deflect attention & serve his corporate masters/PACS....But at least the corruption is out in the open now, staring us all in the face.

Don't buy all this pseudo-divided congress mumbo-jumbo....They've voted in every one of his cabinet....It's a farcical charade.

I see this type of thing where a team lost by a bad refereeing decision. The reality is though, not enough was done to win.

Clinton would have been no better a choice. Given this is the case, the problem is much deeper.

There is a lot to like about the US but there are some really weird elements that need an overhaul. I'm hoping they see these issue and seek reform.
