Just because the CIA and FBI have been used as instruments of evil in the past, doesn't mean the information they get is incorrect. The only reason Trump has an issue with them is that he is unable to concentrate long enough to understand their intelligence.
Right....So admitting all their intel on Russia was nothing but a load of trumped-up hoary old bollocks = Trump doesn't understand the game....Ah ha.

What? Who admitted that ... and what intel have they released about Russia?

Are you denying that
  • Trump has had his daily intelligence reports reduced to 1 page and contain more pictures?
  • Trump can't maintain concentration on any task and spends nearly all day watching TV?
  • that intelligence reports have to contain "Donald Trump" maintain his attention?
  • Trump has staff who's job is to provide him with collations of positive news stories about twice a day?
You scoff about CIA and FBI, yet have no problem with a president who gets information from Fox News and Infowars. You know it was the peversion of CIA intelligence by Fox news and their politicians that led to the Iraq war. Not the CIA itself.

So you're saying that Trump is almost as dumb as Dubya & olde Ronnie Reagan then....And that his position is that of a mere 'figure-head' & sock-puppet for the real powers that be, behind the scenes....I'm Shocked to be sitting here.

And I'm fairly certain that it was the N.Y Times & the WaPo who were at the forefront of pushing the Iraq war agenda....Which, of course, had diddly-squat to do with terrorism, 9/11 or Un-democratic ways, including it's mistreatment of the Kurds; For which it was not alone in, as all of Syria, Turkey & Iran can attest.

As far as I'm concerned, the Donalds' disdain for the intel agencies & their clear corrupted criminality is perfectly placed & is actually one of the things I agree with him on 100%....That Hills has had to fall on her own sword in order to protect them all speaks volumes for his accurate assessments there....A nice full circle, beginning with the Kennedy Assassination, has come to a close.

And of course, we all know who it was that coined the term 'conspiracy-theorist' to begin with, post the Kennedy assassination, as a means by which to smear & discredit any & all dissenting voices....George Herbert Walker Bush himself.....The fact his son just came out & repeated those very words just the other day, in his denouncement of the Trump presidency, was no small coincidence mind.

Chief to be fair he was pretty much spot on with the Bush thing. Trump is hated by the RNC.

At the moment they are lining up for pot shots as much as the Democrats.

Unless you truly believe in the enemy of my enemy there is nothing good or noble about Bush being on your side.

And the media are currently slamming Bush Snr for his wandering hands and potty mouth.
What Bush thing?

He repeated news stories about people who hate Trump - this is not new insight and it is smothered in his conspiracy rubbish.

Ask P35 who he thinks secretly runs the world. Ask him which mass shootings he thinks were perpetrated by government/deep state/teh Jooz.

Trump, in one fell swoop, has managed to cause both Hills & the entire intel community to flip A over T onto their own heads....Now, I wonder how he managed to do that?....Just a special kind of magic I suppose.
I'm not interested in discussing the merits of particular theories, just the larger point of how Trump benefits from this defect in human thinking that allows him to cast doubt over almost anything and thus create an alternate reality for his supporters to follow him in. It's ironic that a group of people who are motivated by a desire to not be fooled are so easily led by that very characteristic in their thinking.

Very well put. It's like they were orignally sucked in by the half truths and lies that led to Iraq so they won't believe anything anymore. I also think those with a right wing bias are upset that facts and data, taking into account all contributing and confounding variables, tend to have a left wing bias.

Trump doesn't need to create an 'alternate reality'.....The MSM already does that for him with their constant lies, thereby giving him the credibility all of their own accord....One more time....WMD!

Hasn't Syria & now this 12 months of constant lies over Russia-gate taught you anything?....Dear Lord.

This is what happens when people allow political partisanship to blind them to truth.

While some in the press may be harping on and on about Russia like it was the only take away message from the election doesn't make it false. The only way you can refute what has come out is "fake news". It is absurd that you can just swallow that line from Donald Trump who actually prospered from literal fake news generated by Russian trolls and the Mercer foundation.

Are we taking bets on who? Has to be Flynn or Manafort. If he was smart it would be both and then tell them only one can cut a deal.

Clock is ticking. Even if Trump pardons one of them he is gone. If he pardons or fires anyone in relation to this probe then he will be impeached.

Then we may have to deal with President Pence ... that will be worse in one way better in another. It will be worse because he's not such an abject failure and will probably get through more of their nasty legislation plans, on the other hand he wont be starting wars purely for his own ego.

I think Carter Page is odds-on for one of them. Given they are talking multiple indictments, it could hit Manafort and Flynn, but I'm expecting it to start at the bottom. Don't think it'll be Junior or Kushner.

Republicans aren't impeaching him. Foxnews has already started the smear mueller campaign in order to give him cover for firing him.

Having said that, could see massive wave of dems winning in 18 and then we might see movement.

What constitutes 'real news' is evidence....200K worth of face-book/ Twitter ads is hardly 'evidence' for Russian collusion....And anyone who imagines that it is, doesn't understand the notion of evidence to begin with....Even less so the notion of freedom of the press & free speech.

MSM echoing sound-bite after self-same old sound-bite, without a hint of any real journalism or any substantiated sources behind their hollow claims whatsoever, does not constitute evidence.....What it does constitute is propaganda, & an attempt at manufacturing consent, by substituting rumor & innuendo for fact, second-hand repeated info ad nauseum for independent research....This is how the MSM now behaves & operates....As all of WMD, Syria & now Russia-Gate amply demonstrates.

Seriously we just had news that indictments have been handed down. Do you think there should be a public trial to test these issues or do you think it's all a beat up. I don't really understand what your position is?

So what if Manafort, Flynn and Page are literally found guilty on espionage charges?

Manafort and Flynn are obviously guilty for a long time and it's a surprise that they aren't either squealing or in a cell already
I'm wondering if they tried and Mueller said no.

There's no reason to flip them if they've got nothing to give.

Mate every other post of yours is evidence-free.

Absurd to claim the actual evidence isnt evidence at all. Not unexpected.
