That's right.

It's a memo written by Republicans for Republicans in their attempts to discredit the FBI.

Like all such Republican stunts, there'll be zero evidence and plenty of supposition. Ho hum.
You can spin it any way you want and it's cute that you believe any Trump/Russia stuff while ignoring everything else. The only one deluding themselves is you.

The Inspector General Horowitz has been doing his own investigations into FBI/DOJ and handed over 1.2 million documents to Congress into his own findings and recommendations on the 12 January.
The FBI/Doj have also handed in Thousands if not millions of highly classified documents two weeks ago. Wray and Rosenstein had to personally deliver them after threats of subpeonas.

This 4 page memo hasn't been made out of thin air!

Names have been named into Fisa abuses and illegal spying on Trump candidates and millions of Americans.

It's got to do with people in high places trying to politicise the election And the Mueller investigation. People have already been stood down or re assigned including people on Mueller's team.

I would think that given that the Republicans control all three - White House, House and Congress it would be Republicans and the inability of "I am the best at making deals' leader.
It requires 60 votes to get it through. 51 Republicans and 9 Democrats needed. Neither side wants to cave on DACA which is totally unrelated to the bill but Schumer & Co are trying to include it.

Republicans were widely criticised in 2013 when they tried to tack "non spending related" items onto the shutdown/budget discussion.

House conservatives are demanding the public release of a memo spearheaded by Rep. Devin Nunes, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, detailing allegations of FBI missteps during the 2016 election -- a move that Democrats say is an effort to torpedo special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into the Trump campaign by discrediting FBI work central to his inquiry.
Democrats are voting against it by saying it will divide the country. Ummm, have they not looked down from their ivory towers of late?

You use the word 'collusion', I used the word 'interference' and it is still ongoing.

Why is it only the conservative media that is discussing the 'memo' and why haven't they released it? #fakenews?
"Interference " ??!?!!? Lol ok, they (Russia) report news slightly differently and it's scandalous, the USA starts multiple wars of aggression under Obama and it's barely acknowledged. They need to reign in thier runaway, psychopath foreign policy, not go on a paranoid witch hunt for red s under the bed.

Only 44 republicans voted yes though...

Seriously, they had a bipartisan deal that would have passed both houses easily, funded chip, sorted Daca, given money for the wall. Everyone gets what they wanted, then trump and his noxious crew blew it up because they don't like brown people. That's the meeting when the "shithole" comment was made.

This is all on trump.

Nah, this funding could be completely sorted without any DACA issue being looked at. This was unnecessary inclusions on a spending bill in much the same way the Republicans tried some BS 4 years ago.

"Interference " ??!?!!? Lol ok.

Calm down, "LOL"man...

If this isn't a form of interference then what is?

Twitter finds over 1,000 new Russian-linked accounts

"Twitter said Friday that it has suspended 1,062 new accounts it has found to be linked to the Internet Research Agency, a Russian "troll farm" which disseminated content intended to interfere in the U.S. political process.

In total, the company has found 3,814 Internet Research Agency-linked accounts, which posted 175,993 tweets during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Twitter said it also found 13,512 new Kremlin-linked bot accounts, bringing the total number of bots it has found in connection to Russia's election influence efforts to 50,258.

The company also said in a post on Friday that it will notify 677,775 people to let them know that they either liked, retweeted or followed Russian-linked accounts, following a request from Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) to do so"

Get your turntables out!!!

As opposed to the President who has an actual tower named after him?

**** me, seriously.
Towers, several around the world have his name on them. Not really relevant to the point of the discussion though. How much division could releasing said memo cause?

In fairness, there's not an issue where you can't find evidence of Trump saying the complete opposite to what he believes now.

If Trump was smart (hehe) he'd use the threat of a government shutdown as a negotiating tactic to pass what he wants.

Obama might have had his flaws but he was prepared to stare down his opposition even when they controlled both houses of Congress. Trump (ironically) always seems to be only worried about how it is reported.

There's past "words of wisdom" from DD for every scenario:

But Obama...

Seems they haven't learned anything from 2013 then. Negotiation is the key with the master of the deal in charge.

Not sure if he realizes a shut down isnt a total and complete shutdown of government, or is he talking of shutting down "everything" (ie DoJ, DHS, DoD, customs, etc)

when I was in the USA for the 96 shutdown national parks were closed, but yesterday he was apparently planning on keeping them open. be interesting to see what actually gets shutdown
