My understanding is that Steele is a highly respected individual, with a very good track record. I also understand there were several other sources used in getting the warrants. Even a Fox News anchor said that warrant requests can be 100 pages or more. So it wasn't just Steele's Dossier and Yahoo News being used as the sources.

Plus, each time a warrant is signed off, proof is provided that the wire tapping has produced results. That tells me the initial warrant was justified.
Quite difficult to get one rejected:

Anyone know how I can send a cyber Kleenex to FireKrakouer as I am feeling sad for him.
Why's that? I'm sad I couldn't recruit you to my side, as you and Silver would've been valuable assets. That's a compliment. But there's no need to feel sad for me. The man I admire most in the world is leading the free world, and any chance of his impeachment has just flown out the window. Earth is in safe hands.

Just as you complained that I wouldn't respond to your question about Ben "who gives a shit" Carson, you never answered what you disliked about Trump in the 80s when he was a leftist democrat winning awards for his charitable work with the African American community? He is on the record as recently as 2009 supporting the Dems, until he found out what a complete fraud Barry was, as did the rest of us who had our eyes open.
It wasn't a question about Carson, I was interested to read you admit you made an incorrect claim regarding Carson, that still hasn't happened, it is now "who cares?". Weak...

William Fugazi gave Trump that award, did he not? Check out his story...

I'm pretty sure I did answer your question, to recap: he was/is a tabloid phony who I deemed to be a pompous idiot via watching him interviewed on various US talk shows. He came across as a dickhead and nothing has changed, he's only become worse.

Good lord, Larry. Your hero isn't leading anything, he doesn't have a clue what is going on... Put the Kool-Aid away.

Leading, safe hands... :D You seem obsessed with impeachment for some reason.

I, and I'm sure most everyone else here, realise you are on the wind up but let's get your turntables out and spin this one from yesterday, Larry.

Clueless DD, how embarrassing...

No I'm blaming an irresponsible President and Republican Congress for their support of Laissez Faire Capitalism for short term political gain.

We know how that story ends.

LOL.

Remind me never to get investment advice from a Trumpian.

The market is responding to the clear inflationary pressures on the economy those Republican policies inevitably create.

As an Australian, the thing that worries me the most about economic conditions in Australia is a rise in our dollar and interest rates.

Those two things are inevitable with this Administration. Conservatives in this country are so self interested they want to follow this madness in lockstep.
A rise in Aussies interest rates would be a good thing.

I think most anti-trumpers were pointing out that stock market performance doesn't equal the economy...

Also pointed out that growth has been reasonably linear from the obama era, so judging yourself on stock results while claiming obama was bad for stocks is rubbish.
.
Dow went sideways or the last 18 months of Obama

There was a video that was posted three times yesterday, I doubt that you watched but for your benefit, I will tell you what it showed.
Three weeks ago there was a bill to strengthen the conditions required for a FISA request, both Ryan and Nunes spoke against changing. Today they release a memo stating that it has been used inappropriately. To me that smacks of hypocrisy.
Now Nunes is Chairman of the Intelligence committee that has over sight over these matters, if he was so concerned, why not change the law?
This is the biggest 'nothing burger'to date only goes to prove that he is now in the running against Page as the biggest village idiot. He and Ryan have lost all credibility! Just Trump's lapdogs.

Great to see all the MSM channels covering the latest Presidential Job Tracking Polls ... crickets.
Rasmussen now have Trump with an approval index of -3 (Obama's was -7 at the same time of his Presidency 2/2/2010).

Trump just keeps on winning.

For those interested here is Carter Page's Testomony to the HCSPI

https://intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/carter_page_hpsci_hearing_transcript_nov_2_2017.pdf

I found Page 8 particularly interesting considering Page was accused of buying 19% of an energy company.
Amazing how the same names pop up all over the place.
Written answers that he has since contradicted himself. (Chris Hayes interview).
I particular liked page 15 where he goes into bat for Flynn. LOL

FOX news video? Double LOL!

Widen your mind please.

He probably right.
Interesting that Mueller himself has requested a 3 month delay in Flynn's sentencing.

On no! The Conservative Tree!
Thanks but no thanks, will pass on that link too.
Did it occur to you that he is collecting more evidence and putting his ducks in a row if he has asked for an extension?

Comey isn't doing himself any favours with his tweets but i hope he continues because he is acting like the "weasel"
So long as he is getting attention he will continue, it is James Comey after all - the bloke who needlessly involves himself in politics. Now we are seeing what the FBI was like under his leadership so of course Comey is going to defend them (in his mind he probably thinks he owns the FBI). Comey is twisted and he is sick. So glad he is off the political landscape. This memo is a big dent to Comey's massive ego and he cannot handle it (his tweets suggest as much).

There's not much to report in favour of Trump. Unemployment trends remain a fairly straight line from early Obama era to present day.

Trump just keeps on winning.
Putin does. This couldn't have turned out any better for him, to threaten the institutions in America concerned with democratic freedom without launching a single ship.

Crazy Hank must have been an exception, eh Larry? His strike rate was lower than yours...

The Trumpeeter roundabout again, you told us to check out that rubbish about six months ago, the front page were all absolute duds. Colin Kaepernick working in a MacDonald's from memory. Hilarious...
On Kaepernick, it's funny how some on the right like to always claim how they are the victims of the left wing PC police and that they are being attacked for simply holding a different view. Then they turn around and do the exact same thing to Kaepernick for not showing sufficient enough "patriotism".

Their form of patriotism is not real patriotism. To them, patriotism is about never questioning your own country, regardless of whatever they are doing.

They also always say how the left are thugs and "why can't they just do peaceful protest". Cherrypicking the minority of incidents at left wing rallies or protests. Then when Kaepernick and others do non-violent protest they subsequently attack them for doing so.
