Developing nicely, reminds me of Robbie Gray. Did well to get him at pick 52 in the rookie draft

Of all the three SA guys we drafted last year (Battersby, Knight, Spina) what stands out about Alex is his clean hands. Just doesn't seem to fumble.

Not sure about his fitness? Doesn't seem to get around the footy enough yet.

Didn't show enough and we needed more rookie spots for mature aged ruckman, defender etc

Most likely the case was we thought he was unlikely to make it so cut our losses now.

A shame, definitely deserved another year.
