The year he went to North he was a tall half-back - but was an overager, so may have been shorter when first eligible.
Half-back and wing, and he was big back then too. I was looking up all the "big mids" in the draft the other day for a post I never posted, I think I have Cal Twomey's profile of him copied somewhere...

Here, same year as Parish/Francis/Redman;

Mitchell Hibberd 191/85 (def/mid)

After being overlooked at last year's draft due to injury, Hibberd has struck back this season to be a legitimate first-round chance. The tall and athletic Tasmanian can be used in a number of spots. He's attacking off half-back and gives strong drive, he can slot nicely into a wingman's role, and isn't afraid of going for his marks in attack as well. After a knee reconstruction ruled him out of action last year, a shoulder operation interrupted his start to this season. But he's set to be considered by the Hawks, and he has some very nice traits.

There’s certainly a role up for grabs if he’s good enough.

Too many Whitney Houston’s running around our midfield and we haven’t really had a Costner since Hocking retired.

I hope he goes well

To be air, I'd still prefer Bill to #scottyfrommarketing as out PM.

Yeah. Nah. Bill was a private school boy knob masquerading as everyone's friend when in real life he would sell his family if he had to. Had dealings with him when I was a shoppy in the AWU. Total snake. The current Labour Party disappoints me. Has been taken over by the socialist left and is not even close to what it was in the Whitlam through to Hawke Keating days. I know there are a good number of CFMEU members who are seriously questioning what is going on under Chairman Andrews.

Anyway. Pleased to see your man getting a run.
