If I'm (now) interpreting this correctly, is this a Democrats majority vote? If so, the country is basically beyond redemption.
I haven't followed the passing of those two recent bills, but it's probably about the Reconciliation thingy. But I may be wrong.
Basically the GOP are going obstruction on everything. That they got a couple of their votes makes me think McConnell released a few because it needed to be passed but had to keep up the pretense of GOP not giving in to the libs. Possibly those released Senators are facing difficult elections as well, so they could say they tried.
I've seen this kind of obstructionism before. In a former single-party authoritarian state after the first free election in which the opposition party won the Presidency but not enough seats in the legislature. Absolutely nothing proposed by the executive branch, no matter how routine or vital, was passed or sometimes not even voted on. The nation's welfare be damned. s**t politics rules.
The one where they executed a no-knock search warrant in the middle of the night, were surprised when the house occupant shot at the people who bashed through his front door unannounced in the middle of the night.
The police returned fire in practically an open barrage through doors and windows killing the woman who was never even accused of a crime and filling the neighbours apartment with lead too.
For what was the warrant granted? Breonna Taylor used to date a guy who was selling drugs from another house and this other man might still have packages there, maybe, but they had no evidence of that, just a "maybe".
They didn't check who was in the house. They didn't knock, it was after midnight, and the man in the house had no idea who they were.
And the local police were trying to say they did nothing wrong.
It was/is everything which is wrong with US law enforcement/justice.
And the warrant was dodgy

you mean the one where she was caught on tape talking to her ex boyfriend talking about drug trafficking and user her apartment as a pass through leading to a no-knock warrant. Then they knocked at the door even tough they didn't have to and announced they where the cops. He did however get out of bed and still apparently couldn't hear them saying it was the police but he could hear the knocking. then the cops bust trough the door and he starts shooting and hits one of the officers then the police return fire and shoot breonna. The only thing you got right was the office that fired aimlessly, he was charged.
Where'd you get that information from? The police who are being charged with falsifying evidence? The only people who say they announced themselves as police are them and a person who changed their story after the cops met to line stories up.
Why would you need a no-knock warrant for a lady with no criminal history, and the violent criminal who is the main target of the investigation is already in police custody?
Is your contention that Breonna's boyfriend (no criminal history) knew it was the cops at the door and decided a shoot-out was his only way out, even though he'd committed no crimes and was not wanted for anything. You contend that he just started shooting at the police because they were banging on the door? If you put yourself in his shoes, that sounds pretty unbelievable doesn't it. Yet that's the cops' story and one which you apparently support.

Man has trouble putting on jacket, must be a terrible President.
They'll ignore 4 years of incompetence by Trump and 2 years of far more achievements by Biden just to laugh at somebody struggling to put on a jacket because of some wind.

Warrant was dodgy and the one cop.injured apparently by the shooter inside (which was used to justify the barrage) was actually shot by one of his fellow cops during the barrage.

I dont' think I ever picked on Trump because of anything physical (except in response to anything about Biden's physical ability).
There's just too much about Trump's mental decline (albeit from such a low-base it's hard to judge) than to worry about his physical decline.
How about calling out your own buddies? They where straight onto countering with trumps mishaps.
I agree, we should focus on performance not appearance.
One thing about Trump's appearance is that his vanity about his appearance extends to his vanity about his cognitive abilities. The two are linked in his mind, so it's less pointless laughing at his appearance, because it strikes his vanity.
Not sure it works with Biden.

He was also the most litigious man in White House history.
Suing and being sued for decades. He's probably more offended that he's been raided for minor felonies when he knows he's committed much more serious felonies.
He forgot in that 5sec period that he had already shook his hand. Its a sad sad country when one guy has the memory of a goldfish and the major oppo candidate is taking the 5th bc he is just an outright piece of s..t. America the Great - not.
