So Trump is pretending to support the auto workers currently on strike in Detroit, planning a rally in the city and going to a non-union, non-Big Three plant. Many in the media are unfortunately falling for it and giving the coverage the Republicans want, trying to spin that they are now somehow the party of workers, in spite of his history of being opposed to this very union.

Biden, meanwhile, is the first US President in history to join a union picket line, giving his support to the workers.

Good on Joe for doing so. I see some former Obama advisor criticised Biden for doing it. Neoliberalism forever according to them…

Definitely a big positive Biden doing this.

So far, the committee into the inquiry into whether to Impeach President Biden, the republican witnesses have agreed that they will not present any witnesses nor evidence that the current President has committed any crimes, before they shutdown government, costing hundreds of thousands of their own constituents an income to live.
The Republic of The United States is now a failed experiment!

The Independent has a report on the GOP led attempt at impeachment, regarding it as a disaster.
Even Jonathon Turley, a well known conservative law professor and sometimes Trumpist said there was a lack of evidence.

By closing Government the MAGA nutters are hoping to delay the trials, the 91 charges. Its getting that bad. A handfull of MAGA's holding millions of people to ransom. There is NO evidence of Biden being involved in corruption. His son was never in the administration. Whereas the Trump cabal have all been up to massively corrupt behaviours.
Putin, the Saudis have all been benefactors of the Trump foreign policy, all bought & paid for. Kushner is the most obvious case of Whitehouse corruption in a century!. Given a Whitehouse security pass by Trump. He did whatever the Saudis wanted & got himself a great little earner for that. BUT BIDEN!!!

Article from the Hill talks about the impeachment and in the last half describes Democrat attempts to get Rudy Giuliani to testify.
'Where Rudy' was the cry.
I don't know the rules about calling witnesses but it appears the majority can stop them being called. Getting Rudy to testify would be one of my major aims if I were the Dems.

The GOP are only partly doing this for Trump. They are also banking on it to help in the next election of not just POTUS but also down the ticket. They are fighting the taint of Trump AND the MAGA caucus. They are dependent on the 6~7 million who voted for him last time to stay within their media bubbles and hear Biden and impeach over and over. If Fox and the rest of that conservative ecosystem keep a lid on the actual testimonies and evidence, the GOP have a chance of not losing their slightly rusted on but still coherent voters.

I only just saw this, from a couple of days ago, Hunter Biden is suing Rudy and Co, plus the guy who had his laptop.
For him all the embarrassing stuff is already in the public domain so it's going to be interesting to see what comes out of the defendants testimony in this case.
