Florent and Jones were very good in the first 2 quarters when we were in the game
Allir WTF took 1 mark today dropped everything else.
How do we keep giving away so many frees 26-11 today

Midfield was thoroughly spanked today. Needed Parker to stand up but he was a non entity. McLean tries hard but it’s clear he can’t ruck a whole game and his effectiveness falls away as the game goes on. Felt we were a tall short as they easily dealt with Reid as our only genuine tall.

Parker isn't going to stand up. At best he is a second midfielder, more likely a third. He isn't and will never be a player who can lead our midfield like Kennedy did.

Sad thing is that the coaches rated Parker as the better player than Mitchell, and that has been proven to be very very wrong as Mitchell is capable of leading a midfield.

hanging on to smith would be more poor management

theres too many ordinary players getting games,but we knew this

people expecting a quick rise are in for a shock

parker is not a number 1 mid


but look if we somehow won it wouldnt mean much, the Loss doesnt mean much, we are just waiting for the year to end and fix the list as much as we can

We need quality talls and not McCartin, Aliir and Dawson being thrown all over the place each week. Also not sure McLean is actually tall enough..

If you look at the stats since 2000 it shows that it doesnt matter what we do with respect to free kicks because we will always be one of the most penalised teams in the comp.

Will say it until I see action. We'll never move up the ladder with Parker and Kennedy in our midfield.

Blakey worked his arse off all game covering the ground, and Rowbottom's work in tight in the first half was huge.

That sort of performance every week from Florent and we will have very happy days ahead. Confidence looks right up now as he's shimmying and shaking his opponents. The week off looks to have done him the world of good.

Four of the five players we had with over 100 games today were just no good.

McLean battled manfully as he's done every week so far, unsurprisingly the lack of help afforded to him became costly. Why am I, a nobody, able to see these things, but Horse & co, the experts on six-figure salaries, cannot? Frustrating to say the least.

Dam wall broke IMO. Rapt with the youngsters, we have a bright future, the experienced guys have no excuse.

From the top deck of the stands it looked like we had given up early in the 4th quarter- a rarity for a Swans team.

Also, I cannot recall ever being at an away game where the noise from the home fans had such an influence on the decisions made by the umpires. Not even at a Richmond or West Coast game.

I feel as though there are going to be a few delistings at seasons end. Including one or two big names.

We may as well lose the last 2 and get that top 3 draft pick.

I disagree. I don't think Parker is in the top 30 midfielders in the league, maybe not even top 40.

I personally think it would be better to move Parker forward, give him Heeney's role since Parker is a very good mark, and move Heeney into the midfield.

Because it was the worst decision the club has made in 20 years, and it wasn't a decision that no one could see backfiring. It was obvious at the time it was a horrible decision.
