I went to my first Magpies game last weekend, SANFL Showdown at Alberton.
Saw Tobin Cox play and he was astonishing. 5 goals, varied ways of getting them. Ice in his veins set shots, climbing mark over defender's shoulders, sharking loose balls and snapping.
Embarrassingly I knew nothing of him and had to be reminded he is a rookie. When can rookies be picked to play this year? That is excluding being upgraded to cover a long-term injury replacement.
