Cute, people actually think Didak isn't going. Read between the lines, imagine you're the President, captain or coach of a footy club and your player lies to your face, over and over, do you not have any self-respect or dignity to F him off?
Didak is gone, and after reading in this article that R Shaw is also gone makes me realise that Didak is DEFINITELY going.
Didak is my favourite player but I'd rather have a cleaner club culture built on honesty and trust that wins us a Premiership, than a tainted one with him involved after what I've heard and read about him recently.
Don't turn it into a big deal because he isn't going anywhere for free, he would be our most valuable player at trade week so we will be compensated well, and same goes for R Shaw, remember? He was very sought after by the Lions last year.
from the foxsports website!!
Didak can only be traded if he agrees and there is no way Collingwood will straight out sack him.
What's with all this honesty and trust bullshit anyway? They aren't soldiers, they're playing football for Christ's sake. Do you trust everyone you work with just because you work with them? What a load of crap. At least that should teach Eddie to stfu or probably just curb his enthusiasm for the black and white spotlight.
Regardless of Shaw and Didak making complete fools of themselves the club handled this VERY poorly. Should have waited for a police report and no one could question the validity of doing so. You feel sorry for the leadership group because they were trying to do the right thing. Eddie can go vanish up his own colon.

I agree, in a couple of months wiser decisions will be made.Geez, why don't we just trade the whole squad and start with a complete new slate!
At the moment there is a lot of emotion around, and hot heads are everywhere making rash statements. In 2 months time things would have cooled down, people in power will come to their senses and make decisions not based on emotions but on intelligence, and imo with our lack of talent at the club at the moment, that decision will be that Didak will stay at Collingwood unless they can obtain a player of his skill level in a trade.
Hutchy already said on FC that he didn't think that Dids should be sacked because of this. I nearly fell off my couch!Flies like Hutchy, Rob "The Rat" Waters, Robbo etc. aren't even speculating like this. Hutchy, the man who was adamant that Fevola was leaving.

He has Secret SourcesThat's his opinion. This guy is stating it as news. As if he was a fly on the wall in a secret meeting.

There's a difference between being passionate about an issue and being the ringleader of a media circus.Pretty harsh on Eddie, the guy is mostly responsible for our footy club still existing. When he took over this club, we were Millions in debt.
He may have stuffed up a bit this week, but his passion got the better of him.
Can't trust them to what? Not inform you truthfully of something completely unrelated to work when being the victim of a crime somehow made them a villain last time? Without knowing who started the lie, if it was formulated beforehand or a spontaneous reaction by either of the players (most likely while still pissed). Can you see either of them contradicting the other if Shaw had lied to protect Didak or Didak lied to protect himself from Shaw's stupidity? No one knows but we do know if the club had done as Buckley suggested in his article or better yet shut up until they had all the facts this would be 1/10th the story it is.I think a distinction needs to be made here.
Shaw and Didak don't work with the Club, they work FOR the club, i.e they are employees.
If you are an employer and your employees lie to you and make you look foolish in public, do you think you want them to remain employed by you?
Do you think any organisation wants people it cannot trust working for them, regardless of whether it's a business or a sporting club??
