I finally was offered a job as a Project Administrator last week after 3 formal interviews with 6 different people.

Thought my old job had a tough interview process, that was nothing compared to this.

How I would have loved it to have been the same process as when I went for a target job 5 years ago

Congrats mate, just letting you know the one on one interview is easy as piss, I got the job and just finished all my boring training tonight (which I get paid for)

Good luck with your next interview:thumbsu:

Lol. Lyynchy just reminded me of one I did at Target way back when I was a kid (14/15).

Waiting room, no seats, 20 people in a small 3x3 room (literally standing room only).

"Number 4241 go in please" (I don't even have a name?)

Walk into the room...it's very dim. There's a spotlight trained on the middle of the floor, so I make my way over and stand in it.

A man starts talking to me. I can't see him because the light is next to him. There are three more people sitting beside him - there's a long table set up off the ground they are sitting at (my eye-line is about equal with where their shoes would be behind the table).

For nearly 20 minutes they ask me the most random questions (if you could be any bird, what sort and why? That kind of thing). Then the main room lights came up (awful flourescent things making me even squintier than normal), and they thanked me for my time. As I walked out I looked back - they looked ridiculous with their heads nearly touching the ceiling, like something out of a surreal video.

I got the job offer (along with the other 5 I applied for that week), but turned them down (I chose one of the other jobs with higher pay)
