You're a shoe in for the job, don't stress.
Supermarkets love 15yr olds, you guys are cheap labour, and there's nothing a 20yr old can do that you can't (apart from selling booze & smokes).

Just be enthusiastic, eager and flexible and the job is as good as yours.

The daddy is right - they prefer 15 year olds because they don't pay as much. You will be fine.

When I applied at Coles, it was simply math questions and problem solving. Common sense stuff which applies in the role. This test is just to weed out the people who can't add two numbers together from the rest.

Thanks for the kind replys.

What should I wear to the interview?

Just wear smart casual.
The younger you are, the better chance you have.
They will most likely hire almost everyone the interview.

Hope you're joking.

If you don't have Dress pants, and a collared T-shirt, just turn up in your school uniform.

?

I get told to wear jeans and a hoody/tshirt all the time.

Dress pants, sif. Not like I'm a 35 year old businessman.

I was thinking:
jeans
hoody
dunlop volley shoes(not that shoes matter)

would that be ok

Haha, if you show up in that you won't get the job.

You should wear no less than business attire, basically what Cotchin_9 said.

Lol, are you guys serious?

I'm 15... and you guys want me to wear business shit?

=\

Yep - whack on a business shirt, and black dress trousers, and tie if deemed appropriate by yourself.

Basically dress smart casual.

I have to wear dress trousers, collared shirt with tie and black leather shoes each week to umpire, or will be dropped.

If you turn up in a hoodie and jeans you won't get the job - but as I've said, school uniform is fine if on a school day.

Think what the staff wears at Woollies.... if you dress lower than that level you won’t get a looking - the comment about "dress for a 1 on 1 interview" is a big hint. Also make sure your hair is "neat" and not "cool".... remember you are not there to pick up chicks.

It’s ok to be nervous but just make sure you listen, look interested, participate in group activities (don't just stand back) and WHAT EVER YOU DO - DO NOT SWARE!!! Not even by accident.

On another note,

Any one know about this??
"Australian Birth Certificate (if born after 20 Aug 1986 - at least one parent must have been an Australian citizen or permanent resident at the time of birth - usually on the birth cert under the parent's details) and a form of Photo ID

I never knew that you couldn't work in Aus even tho born here if your parents weren't citizens???

Well when I got my job at Woolies I wore jeans and a polo shirt. As long as you aren't a total dumb arse then you'll get in easily.

You'll have to interview a person next to you, really try and sell them and sound interested in what they're saying (even if you aren't). Then you'll have a group activity, make your voice heard but don't be rude and cut other people off, let others speak. Then in the last test you'll have to some basic maths/error checking, go as fast as possible making the least mistakes possible.

Dear ----

If you are worried about you school report being bad you always just change the marks and comments on the computer. Got a mate to do it for me was flawless.

Wow, I always thought you were actually the real Bachar Houli.

Maybe Essendon arnt paying as well as Woolies...

Just wear jeans and a plain shirt and fit in as many big and intelligent words as you can when you speak and you will be fine.

If you wear ya school uniform to a interview you will look like a tool.

Lol, are you guys serious?

You need to.

All job interviews I've attended I've wore a business shirt, good black dress pants and black leather shoes.

If you walk in there with a hoody & dunlop volleys, I doubt you'll get the job. Don't forget first impressions is so important .. it doesn't matter if you're 15 you need to look professional and like you want the job.

Please do not listen to the people who say wear you're school uniform. That is absolutely ridiculous.

Just because you're 15 doesn't mean you can't wear a good shirt & pants and look good for an hour.

On that matter, such a repulsed attitude to wearing business gear really is quite silly and immature.

You will possibly have to wear one for most of your life so you might as well suck it up and be a man.

There are very very few jobs where you could get away with wearing jeans, a hoodie and dunlops to work.
