Kids doing well but needs to keep improving
playing small foward in his 4th year and now 35 games under his belt i would like to see him have a couple of bags of 3/4 goals.

In 1/2 a game hes already got 2 goals 4 tackles including 1 every bit as good as MRJ lays, where's the love for lightning boy?

12 goals so far this season...... MRJ barely kicked 12 goals in the last 3 seasons. Give the kid a 3 year extension pronto as he deserves it.

It helps his chances when he's pretty much the best set shot in the club (I know - we all knew he'd miss that one in the last, because Richmond.....), but he's doing exactly what he should be doing.

I kind of dislike him and he plays for us lol. Can't imagine being an opposition player or supporter up against him

Everybody else does. So why discourage it?

Been very good this year.
Small forward in our team!! No easy gig.
Kicks goals and brings defensive pressure.
Should cut out the staging though. Otherwise umpires will be reluctant to pay the legit ones.

Last year I did not see much in him and wanted him delisted. Happy to admit I was wrong.

Has been showing a lot this year and could be a decent player.

Good depth. Would be sensational if he gets to Butler/Castagna level (he's way off that right now) but eventually this bloke doesn't play when our gun kids are fit

Played only 36 games and usually takes 50 games to see the quality of player you have on your hands
will need to level up next year and become the Mansell replacement when he leaves for tassie

Have every confidence he will get to Butler / Castagna level, if not higher. He’s a pretty similar player to Butler I reckon except has better foot skills. Butler might be a bit quicker but I think Steely has a touch more class overall.

Steely is very similar to Baker. He might even end up as good. Liking what I am seeing.

Still got 2 years to go before we're sure. But right now, he's a great little player.
