A pity he didn’t have another 10 games under his belt as we basically lost getting half a season of experience into him by playing Short over him. Anyhow he’ll get a decent go next year now that Rioli is going.
Kid has been injured alot since his draft
We rated him higher than green so hope the kid has a great pre season
Was rated more as a foward though and now looking like a Rioli replacement
Should slot straight into Riolis spot R1.

Smith was drafted as a half back, although went forward out of necessity late in the year in the seniors. He played all his footy in the VFL at half back. I thought he trailed off the longer the season went, was playing great footy early in the season. Would be nice to see him raise his game over the summer because he is a good kick, has good speed and not afraid to sit under a ball in a marking contest.
Green himself could also play half back I reckon if Smith doesn't come on. His first game he hit 3 lace out passes with his first 3 kicks and has good attack on the ball and good speed. Would not be against seeing what he was like behind the ball, has a touch of class about him.

Half forward for mine.
I thought this kid was a bit of a green shoot in the match sim against WCE.
He was busy the whole game and had some neat passes by foot.
Has plenty of zip and looks to have a really good attitude. Looks like a teammate who you enjoy having on your team.

Even if he doesn't make it he still has lots of good AFL attributes. As far as shocking players go, he is a long way from that and that was after watching him a few games into his first season in the VFL (last season).

Pretty pathetic really…
But yeah he’s got some attributes that can really be worked with. He’s 3 cm taller than Jayden short. He has battled injuries so far up until this pre season and he’s really looking like he’s taking nice steps forward
think he was the one that hit up lalors first goal. that pass was elite

He was one of our better players considering he hasn't played that much senior footy. I like the kid and hopefully gets a chance to play more this year.

Its also just super unprofessional and I dont think the canteen lady should be speaking about recruitment and should concentrate on the pie warmer myself.

Was impressive against eagles. Looked like Baker with his efforts. Hope he impresses from round 1

I thought his pass to Sam for his first goal was a sample of Kaleb's foot skills. He doesn't laser in that kick Sam doesn't goal... I think confidence & self belief will go a long way for Kaleb.... my 2C worth.
