It was against the Lions, his injury, wasn't it? Anyone remember the player who slung him? I don't remember the incident.

He'll get a substantial payout if this is a long term post career injury.
I reckon it'll be the AFL paying for it.

I'm struggling to remember .... Was it Zorko?

He’s in a Pretty decent position financially , made good decisions with the money he’s made over the years & the club has helped him out with a few things he has going on outside of footy. It's not the be all, end all but he's an alumni of a pretty prestigious school and comes across like he's got his wits about him. Doubt he's got sucked in by any of the "get rich quick" leeches that footballers attract.
Read something similar when he first started at Port. He’s in a Pretty decent position financially , made good decisions with the money he’s made over the years & the club has helped him out with a few things he has going on outside of footy.
As unlucky as Ben Jacobs? The guy becomes one of our most important players then cops this fmd we are unlucky
This is looking like happening more likely nowI reckon he’ll retire before years end
Has as you could imagine lost the majority of his fitness base,. Is alooong way off.
He’s as much chance of playing this year as you or I. Is there any reason why he’s not on the LTI?
Has he progressed at all in any meaningful way in the last 2 years? Because that recent write up might as well have been from 2018. How can a bloke be out for 2 years without progress and never on the LTI? It’s borderline negligent from the club given the opportunity cost of trialing additional 19 year olds or state league players.Hey I believe any is possible now mate don't know but this will be his last go at It.

There's certainly the support angle, but theres also the uncertainty of his return. He could have come good at any point given the nature of his issues. Rather him available than some rookie who more than likely never makes the grade. While from the outside it may well appear negligent, what if we're really looking after someone a fellow North man and after all a person, who knows of course. I know from my experience well for the most part being able to come back to work at my leisure with support made my life that much easier. As important as footy is and work is, you spend more time not playing footy or working. Most of your 24 hour period is made up away from your pursuits.

Good point and I agree, just feel that maybe 6 months on the LTI without any pressure to return may have been the best thing for both player and club. While from the outside it may well appear negligent, what if we're really looking after someone a fellow North man and after all a person, who knows of course. As others have said, we tend to keep players on the active list throughout long term injuries, gutting our vfl team and lessening the chances of us picking up the next Marion Pickett. I don’t feel like our list is so strong that we can continually pass up opportunities to potentially improve it, even if it is unlikely that one of these players turns out to make the grade.
I'm sure we won't see him pull on the jumper again and am more than happy with hiw we have looked after him. Such a s**t thing.Mate I doubt we'll see him again. But maybe you'll see in a park smiling and having a kick one day, sh!t that was good enough for the majority of us Have ya self an NDE and you really see things differently. Please don't , just take it from me, your mortality staring you in the face is ******* sobering.
