He's 21 FFS and is 2kg's lighter than Scott Thompson.

He is not and never will be a 'flanker'.
Bang on - The impatience with key position prospects these days is all kinds of frustrating.

Delaney is as close to a ready made replacement for Grima as we're going to get. Is very likely to become a better player too. Should be watching every game Harry Taylor plays, has the build/skill to mould his game on Harry who is the best CHB in the game right now.

My tip for improvement this year; Harper. Is too talented to have another average year.

He isn't a KPD, and never will be, he has the height but not the right build, he will always be a flanker or 'loose man in defence' like Hansen.
I stand by my assessment. When he is named either FB or CHB for North come and see me.
In fact I will go as far to say he wont be at North in 2015 unless injuries force him into the side.
That was the order of your posts earlier in this thread, but yeah, you were talking about Jacobs...sure...

I was actually talking about 'Jacobs' all you 'Reacher' Reactionists', lol:rolleyes:

This thread contains one deleted post. It was not written by you nor was it deleted by the mods, but by the poster.

There is no confusion. Just diversion.

Far more reasoned than what I was going to post.

something along the lines of "none of your inane babble has been deleted from this thread."

Agree, with Delaney. In the few games I have seen him play he has a certain something which tells me he will be our number 1 back man within 2 years. I actually thing he should now be in the team ahead of Grima. Grima has stagnated and has no attacking flat to his game.

Jacobs I'm not to sure as I think he lacks a yard of pace.

Would love to see Atley take the next step and move into the midfield on a permanent basis and use his pace and good ball use to break games open.
concerned about delaneys awareness - gets caught with the footy a lot.but good insurance with tippett as well. if one turns out to play regularly - would be ok. worth noting that with a backline of firritto, thompson, l delaney, grima, mcmahon - all rookie list I think so seems we have a good record of getting those guys to develop..

Think you're talking about the wrong Delaney. Luke got traded to St Kilda. This thread is about Cam

CDelaney to be All Australian CHB or FB in next two years? I like the look of him but wow, that is a big call!

Agree he may overtake Grima, especially if the latter can't stay 100% fit. Grima still does a good job most of the time though, be interesting which way Scott goes.

Out of interest how would you line up our defence?
Ideally;

B: MacMillan; Thompson; McMahon/Firrito (only one of)
HB: Mullet; Grima; L.McDonald (if he's ready will add a new dimension)

Hansen 'LMID'

I do not believe we can play Thompson; Grima, Hansen, Delaney in the same team all down back.

Atley to push up the ground and become part of midfield hopefully.

Well, that's about where I stand at the minute:)
