A little of centre but id like to see us try Levi as sub. A fresh strong body could really help clearances in the last quater when others are already battered bruised and a little worn down.

I know the tendancy has been to use an outside player for a burst of speed but clearances so often dictate momentum in a final quater its not funny, easy enough to put a wells/zeibull/cunners forward for the last and let a fresh man bash and crash, may help Ziebs get up week to week to not having to be the ram for 4 quaters too.
Been preaching it since last year :)

I know we have already had a "i called this" posted in this thread but.......

I've said this for a while, a solid bodied inside mid with reasonable pace is a much better sub than an outside flair player.

JMac, BMac, Nahas, Wright type cant turn a game where it counts like a fresh inside mid can. A fresh body willing to hit contests hard against tired battered bodies will win ball and turn games.

Lets hope the trend continues :)
I'm coming around to your way of thinking on that. Good point. FWIW, even as a fresher player in the last, I thought he looked more comfortable with the pace of the game and more at home with the gameplan than last year. Was always going to be a multi-year project.

Ben Jacobs has been played wrong all his career until Scott tried him as an inside mid in the last few rounds and while he had a couple of quiet games at the end he did show glimpses. I think he was stuffed towards the end but another solid pre season to build that tank a bit more and he might get more air time on the ball .
You're on fire Big :p

Lol, one goal does not make a career, absolutely pulled it out of his a***, still predict he will be delisted at years end, i'd put money on it.
You've got a poor memory. He is lovely long kick for goal. Unfortunately his field kicking is often rushed and he makes too many mistakes.

Look who the cat dragged in.

I found it funny that we haven't had a peep out of you after such a good win.

Not a peep.

Every North supporter was stoked with the win. Still nothing from you.
Then you show up on Thursday having crack at Jacobs.

Do us all a favor and piss off back to the boring board of whatever pitiful excuse of a club you barrick for.

I know it's early but this year won't be Delaney's year methinks.
Not a great start, but Black was in a similar position last year and circumstances gave him just the opportunity he needed. Delaney just needs a steady run on the injury front. He should dominate the VFL.
