Decision making AND execution at times were poor however, he worked harder than most (probably fresher) should've had a free kick in the forward 50 for holding the ball and kick the post from 50+

Needs a spell in the VFL.

I hate criticising our players so I better just shut up but if he gets another game I'll throw up. Has there ever been a player for us that has turned over the ball so many times. I counted 4 opposition goals directly from his disposals.
I rather bring in LA than have Jacobs playing, he has shown that he doesn't have the mental smarts for AFL, i hope he goes through some maturing faze or something, but at the moment its hard to find a player that could perform worse.

This forum sounds like a bunch keyboard heroes venting their anger. Let's not get too stupid here, Jacobs played good against his old team when we needed him to. Don't know how many subs could perform the best under todays situation

Yep, I don't see why Jacobs should be singled out. Came on as sub and got it as many times as Levi, three more disposals than McKenzie, three more tackles than him too. Turned it over a lot but I saw Wells, Harvey and Cunnington do the same. The slip in the middle of the ground had me pulling my hair out though.

That was the last chance at half a sniffle of coming back.

The slip had me going psycho dont get be wrong. But you were spot on, Harvey and Wells did it how many times today? And lets not forget the many dangerous situations Harvey put the younger guys in. The sad thing is that's our leaders playing like that, so they're really setting the bar, should we discrimate and pick on them for that? Probably not. As a group, yes, because the same thing happened against Essendon. They pounced early and North went into their shells. Similar score line too

Harsh on Ben. If only he could have had a taste of the same and adjusted to tempo. Not fair to come in and be oblivious to the match speed.

There can be only one...
Not sure what we saw in him to be honest, sure he might have been a decent junior but he didn't show anything positive at Port to chase him.

I thought he showed enough intensity being the sub to be given more of a go, but his skill level is just not up to scratch. Don't know what the issue is or if he will ever by AFL standard but we need to go with players who can use the ball well. We have so many players who can't hit targets it is beyond a joke atm.
