unfortunately when most articles are written that don't include the full conversation people will read it differently. Nothing wrong with that, that's the way it is with all media.

NORTH! 2016,2017,2018.
Weird OP to me......followed by a fair few other strange posts.
I didn't get the Dal ref to read at all like we lack leaders. What I liked though was "great mate Luke McDonald", just because it had LMac in there. Jacobs will be proper for us, just you wait and see.

Lol. Dal = best communicator = all others bad leaders. Yep, seems a perfectly reasonable conclusion.

OMG who said all others are bad leaders? We all know we have lacked top quality leadership on field that is a FACT regardless of this article or not.
Obviously you and I differ, but in absence of full information (like this article, which wasn't even about leadership) I don't zero in on just one conclusion.

In no particular order: Dal, Harvey, Thompson, Cunnington, Goldstein.

You could make a good argument he is top 3 for us.

But please spin this as a negative for the club...
Stupid comment mate. If you don't agree with diff opinion that is fine no real need for that comment though as no one said having NDS as a leader is a bad thing.

For the record I would have Thompson, Cunnington, Harvey ahead of NDS. He is not our best player.

haha you love stirring the pot mr reacher
Especially as it might prove correct. Admittedly he is going better than Gysberts though, another recruiting success story.

Interesting now I mention that, as Pederson played an impressive game on the weekend, Roos playing him a lot in the ruck albeit undersized but is more mobile - not sure where/if he would play for us, but good to see him taking his second chance.

Come on...

I mean, one of the best on-field communicators I've ever played with (probably the best) was Shannon Watt, and that includes other respected footballers like Simon Goodwin, David Teague, Bentick, Raso, Anthony Rocca etc, off the top of my head. A bloke who was probably the whipping boy of all whipping boys on this very site. A wonderful communicator on field, and a 250 plus gamer in Dal is also good with the voice. Go figure. No need to jump to unfounded conclusions..

What's being lost here, is that, that was actually a very good article. Thanks to Rick for the clarification, and good luck to Benny Jacobs. Should continue to plug away and is hopefully rewarded for his efforts later in the year.

Yeah Andy, for a few seasons straight out of the Knights. More reserves football though.

It's how I have kept my affiliation with the young Knighters over the years. Watt at West Preston etc.
Sweet. I went to school with a few boys who played at the knights and one of those went on to play with the 'Ants.

Must be a good bloke.

Yeah they've always had a really good relationship and pathway down there. From the time Ray Shaw was coach before Pagan's brief stint. Marco Bello really impressed in one season as head coach with the kids last year, and is now coaching Box Hill. Really good footy brain and is one to watch in the future.

But adopting the Blues name stinks a little.
