Helmets prevent lacerations and fractures, but do little in the way of preventing concussions. It's your brain bouncing around inside your skull.

Has had further scans this week. From what I've been told its a nerve issue in his neck rather than actual head/brain related injury.

There was a lot confusion as to whether the nerve injury was caused by a knock or by something else. Still consulting specialists.

How did this guy become one of our most important players? I remember him seeming out of his depth in his first few games for the club. I wondered, 'how did this guy ever go so high in the draft?' Now I wonder if this season might have gone differently, had this guy managed to stay on the park.

Yes, this is what we are being told, but, I'm watching Brayshaw with interest. No concussions since wearing the helmet and he is fast becoming elite.

With him out for the year, finals are out of the equation and even if we do make it without him in the middle we are way off. I have always said since he was injured years ago he is our most important player by far
