Not sure if thats such a good thing to be honest

If Gold Coast are offering $700k but Bombers $550k-$600 he will chose Bombers
If all the talk is he wants more security then he will take Suns offer.

If contract length is the same surely Brando takes up the Essendon offer. $100,000 reduces to $65,000 after tax, which is still significant but then he doesn't have to re-locate, which I think will be a big thing for Brandon as he seems very close to his family.

Surprised someone hasn’t brought up where he backed back in the last qtr. key points are he had big look and knew he was clear and he did it when the game was over...... he’s so predictable

Its probably his predictably that helps him get a game each week.
Played the worst game in the history of football and still got it 17 times.

Didn’t get a game round one and he’s back to his old tricks. I know how many touches he had I can look at the stats if I want. He was pathetic and if anyone actually thinks he’s gonna change there kidding themselves.

Does Dimma need him to change? That is the dilemma facing Dimma.

To quote someone
“Brando was 6th in disposals, 8th in rankings, 6ths in disposal efficiency @ 82%, 4th in metres gained and on his endurance was 4th as most TOG 92%"

Are they prepared to drop him on his 1 on 1 capabilities and lose all that.
Which he seems to be able to produce even on his poor days.

I couldn't give a stuff if he gets dropped or not but I'm starting to think that he gets judged on his running to the correct spots and 1 on 0 possessions and his 1 on 1s don't come into much at all.

how did he finish up with 50 super-coach points?

One would think just a brilliant statistically display would have a decent fantasy football score

I dont normally refer to SC but the ellis fanatics love talking about it in this thread

8th in rankings,

ah yes rankings

Everyone can read into stats what they want to.
Finals footy is contested with maximum pressure which is why Brando has never performed in them. We can’t afford to be playing one man down in a prelim.

Who is going to take his place and be expected to run out a game on 96% game time?
I'm thinking his spot is too specialized and Richmond are just going to have live with dropping McIntosh and going with Ellis.

What’s specialised about his spot? Yeah he can run but that’s where it stops for me. Anyone can chalk up the stats in the way Brandon does. Our reserves look the goods so I’m sure one of the boys would relish the call up.

You can’t just rack up those stats. Takes a bit of conditioning to run 19km and still function as a footballer. The legs go on the young blokes ...kicking suffers etc.
If someone comes in to take his role it will have to a 100 gamer type with plenty of good preseasons. Only one I can think of is McIntosh.

You have no idea!

Fair, but specifically how so in this case?

Balta with another preseason would be simply awesome on a wing.

Playing Ross inside and one of the current options moving wide would work fine

Naish and Turner are suited better to the hbf but its not wild to surgest they could be handy on a wing

They said Stack wouldn't play for three preseasons.

fwiw Garthwaite has more km on average than Ellis
