It was known that his dicky knee was he had no PCL, that could be played through with management to the level of winning the Crichton

Yep he had a great year, but surely there’s a longer term outlook, which no doubt they assessed to be fine...but here we are

Where we are is the PCL surgery wasn't necessary and possibly had some associated risks, but now he requires a different surgery on his knee and they're assessing whether they can do both at once.

Did they do a medical when we signed him...oh no PCL, no probs!

All the clubs who chased him knew he had a PCL issue and it could result in surgery within 2 to 3 years. The PCL is not the current issue but they may well fix it in advance now he is having surgery .

Yep good points, although we’re not sure if this new injury is a legacy from PCL. When he had this new injury they said it wasn’t the same as the one plaguing him in early games, neither was PCL. Crow mentioned something about have to manage PCL issue.

Do all the surgeries. Season is done. If the club doesn’t recognise that they’re delusional.

So now watch us go all chips in and sacrifice future seasons in order to make a huge push for 8th place this year.
Yep.
Play all the young blokes now.
Let's find out.

Sad but I'm glad we took the long term view with him. If we didn't do the surgery he could have continued to have various knee issues ongoing. If we are any kind of a club we will find someone to step up in his absence. That's the way it works with all great clubs.
