All wingers should be working to the backlineNot all wingers are working to the defensive goal line.
Where will Parish, Zerrett, Langford be?It sounds like he’s supposed to complement the midfield we’ll have in 2025-2030, not the one we have in the next couple of years during a rebuild.
The players he’s most similar to are 10-12 years older than him. Viewed in that light it makes sense to balance out Caldwell, Hobbs, Perkins, Durham, Martin, rather than worrying about how he’ll fit in a midfield of Parish, Merrett, Shiel, Langford.
By the time the group around Tsatas’ age is in their prime the older guys will be either retired or playing the fat side role off a flank.Where will Parish, Zerrett, Langford be?

Like Langford and Parish are 30 in 5 years time, they will be playing the same roles they do now unless Perkins, Caldwell have become starsBy the time the group around Tsatas’ age is in their prime the older guys will be either retired or playing the fat side role off a flank.
I see us cashing in on parish next year.Where will Parish, Zerrett, Langford be?
They might be still playing the roles they play now but both have had injury troubles before and are as likely as not to play the Zaharakis and Heppell roles in five years time.Like Langford and Parish are 30 in 5 years time, they will be playing the same roles they do now unless Perkins, Caldwell have become stars
We simply picked best available with Tsatas
Id consider martin in there too. Has size, strength, class and endurance. May be less grunt but could add a touch of x factor in therePerkins, Hobbs, Caldwell and Tsatsas. I like the look of that.
Martin is a winger. Just leave him there.Id consider martin in there too. Has size, strength, class and endurance. May be less grunt but could add a touch of x factor in there
Just wanna see the ball in his hands more often.Martin is a winger. Just leave him there.
The jumper he got given on stage and wore for photos afterwards had his name and 5 on the back as wellWore number 5 at training today, a good fit
there are tweets somewhere with the picsThat just said pick 5 though that was a coincidenceThe jumper he got given on stage and wore for photos afterwards had his name and 5 on the back as wellthere are tweets somewhere with the pics
Last year Hobbs was wearing 8 on his new jumper on the night so I figured it’s his actual number again this yearThat just said pick 5 though that was a coincidence

Huge shadow looming over young Tsatas. Huge.Getting those Bent Stanton vibes?
The T is silent.
Just like all the flogs who doubt this pick will be in a couple of years time.
Tsa-as? That’s a hard oneThe T is silent.

I like Tsatas having 5 for the optic and being in between Langford and Caldwell is also good. 18 should go to a tall likely Weideman or Hayes.
Ahaha
If you want to talk up Tsatas at least pick one of his good games before the foot injury. That game against country was a Parish/Merrett game where they get it 30 odd times with minimal impact. He wasn’t even in the best handful of metro players that day.
Actually that is not how it always works. Often you have a defensive winger and an attacking winger. One works back. The other pushes forward. All wingers should be working to the backline
Non negotiable
