Not sure if he played as an underage in las years champs but I was reading that he missed out on Vic metro selection this year largely due to not having completed a preseason and being a long way back in fitness levels early in the season.

Not having played the championships probably a reason he wasn’t selected earlier

Poor endurance and didn’t make Champs so concerns about doing it against the best.

But in his favour seems to have missed the last few preseason with injuries so real chance to improve endurance.
