What happened to the Ross we saw play over at PA so many years ago?!
He got a bad injury when fully fit Dim Sim wouldn't play him in the guts where he was excelling and turned him into an also ran. Kid had everything was and still is been destroyed.

Best game he's ever played. Was always fan from his rookie year. Always had smarts with his little spins, side steps and hands.

He looks to be moving as well as he's ever have. He even dare I say it looked pacey on some plays. Pulled away from his opponent with some burst.

Looked like a gun mid early on but then inexplicably was forced to shed kilos and play out of position for three seasons.
It might have benefited him in the long run. He's an outside mid, not an inside one. Good. We need outside mids.

He was fantastic. Career best.

At what point did Ross learn to kick is 60+ metres? He looked so damaging striking the ball hard and with purpose.

I've always known him to be a conservative and undamaging player. Last night he took the game on and kicked beautifully. I think this might be in part to the confidence in role that he has now. He's always been in and out of the side, so has been playing incredibly safe and careful. Last night he showed he can be a weapon with ball on boot.

Kicked a few last season off a step right on the 50
His boot has gone under the radar

Was a complete game by someone who should be at least a B+ player. Was so impressed by Ross.

He's teased that he can do this. Make this what we expect every game and I am totally sold that we have a potential future captain here.

back to his best self before he got injured, than seemed to take for ever to find his mojo, was showing signs last year.
Im glad he is back. Amazing game last night.

Only had 3 CBA's. I didn't see him on a wing so was he starting at half forward and pushing up?
Will need to see it again this weekend to make sure it’s true, but I believe he’s playing the new “striker” role that a lot of teams are running this season. A super evolution on what Kane Lambert used to do I guess. These teams are putting one of their elite contested players in the forward line to win the ball forward of centre.

Think Patrick Dangerfield, Chad Warner ect.

The original 'striker' was Dusty, And no one else is close.

I know the striker term for Dusty was used and absolutely made sense but this role is a lot different than that. Probably needs another word for it lol. Dusty was sent deep forward pretty much as his rest, he just so happened to be the best we’ve ever seen at it. This new role is played much higher up the ground, not deep into the 50.
