5 month report card : Bigfooty Jan 1, 2001 - 31 May, 2001. The 13 big moments.

Okay, here are the 13 big moments in order for this year so far on bigfooty. These are not necessarily the 13 best, but they are the 13 things that had some sort of cataclysmic impact on the boards that we all love.

NUMBER 13: Asgardian chucks a wobbly and leaves bigfooty after a misunderstanding with Bluey and Mantis/Sandie in early May.

NUMBER 12: The sudden (and unfortunate) arrival of dunstall,19 in April. Never has an individual arosed so much hatred (and pity!) in such a short space of time.

NUMBER 11: The continued optimism of sabre despite the ineptness of his team.

NUMBER 10: Joffa's pasionate plea early in the year on why we must keep the Kangaroos.

NUMBER 9: TigerTank's debate with Dan.

NUMBER 8: The sudden influx of feral Collingwood supporters (namely Joffa) from Nick's Collingwood page during the early part of the year. Bigfooty hasn't been the same since.

NUMBER 7: TigerTank's continued wit. Three threads spring to mind. Firstly his spiel on club's wishlists for the 2001 draw. Also TigerTank's thread titled: "new club web-sites - all teams", which can be found at: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2907.

NUMBER 6: Dan24's banning from bigfooty in March (and subsequent re-incarnation as Dan25), after stupidly filling the entire first page of bigfooty with past threads about himself. Also, Joffa's banning shortly before this, and his subsequent heartfelt apology, which produced pleading from other members to bring him back.

NUMBER 5: Darky and Bee's unbearable flirting on the general board earlier in the year. Why didn't they just shag, for God's sake?

NUMBER 4: This Tigertank thread deserves a space of its own. The number 4 moment of the year. It is titled : "TigerTank's definitive 2001 Bigfooty pre-season preview" and it can be found at http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2668

NUMBER 3: The aftermatch (which lasted weeks) of someone's "Bring on the Blues" thread, started before Round 3, taking advanatge of what was going to be a certain Bomber win. Also, the aftermatch of the biggest bandwagoners thread in late Feb, which caused quite a stir.

NUMBER 2: Mr Ripper's crowd tipping competition.

NUMBER 1: Bigfooty's web-site alterations in late April.

ME! A thing for TT? You've got to be joking. I've spent as much time arguing with him, as I have with anyone on here.

However, having said that, there is no doubting the quality of some of his "work", and as an objective person, I am obligated to acknowledge it.

That can't be right. I started visiting BF regularly last October, and they were already 'ere then.

May: Dan raises the old chestnut "Top spot deserves more recognition" thread to a new generation of unsuspecting Bigfooty posters, repeatedly beating them over the head with numbers and calling anybody who disagreed idiots. While at the same time, putting the ones who knew better to sleep.
