To the Mods, not sure where to post this,

it seems there's already a 'SwansLifer' named poster, a near confusion with my later 'Swan_Lifer'.

Please could my posting name be changed to something else, don't care what (within reason)..
I've PM'd you - we can chat and get it sorted.

I'm feeling sad that it looks like we've wasted a fair bit of Hamling and Buller's time with the club by not playing them when we could/should have. After just his second proper game Buller looks to have a better skill set than McLean (of whom I'm a fan) and equal to Amartey. Should definitely get another year. I had lent towards giving Francis another year but Hamling is much sounder in defence and better backup or first choice so if his body is good I'd go again there too unless somehow we catch a big fish.
+1

I prefer Mills in defence at present.

He was thrown all over the place v St Kilda, actually starting HF , then spells in defence, on the wing, bit on ball and tbh he looked a bit rattled, admittedly mainly when he was deep in the back 50.

But when he starts back I think he and the team look more settled.

As for who he replaces in the back 7 well I'm not a fan of Roberts in the back 50, but others have been calling for a Blakey move and even not playing Rampe would be an option.

But whatever the make up Mills in defence for me.
Yeah I had trouble figuring out what his position was even at the ground. He was all over the place.

The first few weeks back from injury he seemed to float across half back but then also attend any ball ups, sitting about 10- 15 metres back on the defensive side of the contest. I thought this role really worked well as he was rebounding from defence but also an extra mid at the contest when we needed him.

So ‘THE GIT’, (Dwayne Russell) starts debating the goal line decision of Jordan’s mark from Sheldrick’s kick - 3rd quarter.

“Sure, the padding is part of the goal line - but if you look down from the top of the goals, it’s a point.”

I seriously nominate Derr-wayne for the ‘Clown Act of 2025’ award. 🤡🤡

Honestly one of the worst commentators, is just a walking bag of cliches.
