Lions next week in a reasonable Saturday timeslot at the MCG.

Coming off a huge win against the flag favourites. We have beaten two real flag candidates in our most recent games in Melbourne. Lions coming off a win and not yet totally dead though probably realistically out of it.

Can we draw our first ever 50,000 attendance at home to interstate opposition? Surely after dismantling of Hawthorn the fans will come out in massive numbers.

We only pulled 40 against Freo. We should get 50 but there are usually 5-10 who will let us down

Well every club has that MT. Us probably fewer than most.

Personally I think we will draw in the 45K to 47K range which is what top 6 Collingwoods in recent years have drawn against he Lions but it would be great to see it break 50K.

I think we will get to 50, especially if the weather gods play their part. Favoured to win and in the eyes of a heck of a lot of supporters the next win will definitely cement our place come September.

Meant to be 16 and mainly sunny on Saturday. Can our fairweather supporters stand up for once and have some nuts
Stand up for the club and break the 50k barrier for crying out loud

After beating Hawthorn 50k is certainly possible. We're Richmond, much better than the Pies' supporters.

What is the highest home and away attendance for Brisbane in Melbourne ?

There have been three 50K attendances for the Lions in Victoria. The 2 biggest featuring the Pies.

The biggest is 61,868 when both the Pies and Lions were contending for top 4 places in Round 19 2003. That kind of turnout is only imaginable if both are genuine top 4 chances late season so the 61K is a bit of an outlier.

Apart from that 54,820 for the Pies in R.10 2006 represents the realistic upper limit in "non exceptional" circumstances.

I think we will get 40,000 tigers there no problem. The rest is up to how many Brisbane fans show up

One time at Richmond vs Brisbane game there was a group of Brisbane guys chanting "Richmond! Richmond!", I was so ****ing confused... It was because Richmond sounds like Brisbane. I was seven at the time.

Anyways, the crowd will be 45k.

My bad, I'll just take the night off work, my only main source of income to pay my bills which allows me to buy a membership I've never even used before so you can brag some more on BF how many people go to our games.

flog.

13 wins should just about guarantee finals. Let's hope for a massive crowd to roar the boys on :thumbsu:

That's what I was thinking. I'll be there to roar and let the players know what 13 wins (in one season!!!) will mean to me. I don't think it's out of the question that 50 thousand others will be thinking the same thing.

A mix of opposition supporters (neutrals) will turn up to witness the win that secures our top 8 hold. Everyone wants to see not just the players reactions, but the well known roar of the tiger army. I think there will be over 50k at the game.

Plus the closet tiger supporters are coming out.

Last year in Round 23 versus West Coast we got exactly 50,000 at the game. It was our highest attendance against an interstate side at the MCG ever. I see no reason as to why you shouldn't be able to get at least close to 50,000 this week. The Tigers are on the up and the fans will come out in full voice. :thumbsu:

The eagles were finals bound though
