Reading about Brown and Daw I for one would always play Brown ahead of Daw. Although not in the ruck, actually feel Boomer would be a better ruck option than Brown.

Interestingly we ( NMFC) have been working hard on Brown not getting pushed under the ball which happens countless times per match. The interesting component is no one around here tends to see that happen with Brownie.
I see it but forgive him after I see him clunk 8 marks on the lead under pressure. Simmering that Majak doesn't do.

Just wanted to pay tribute to this guy as I think he's been amazing so far in his career for us and seems to have improved incrementally this year as well. 57 games so far, 96 goals. Not bad for pick 47. Still only 24. :thumbsu:

Agree. But at some stage needs a 6 - 7 - 8 goal game.

He worked very hard on not getting pushed under the ball in the off season, I reckon he has got better at that. A solid start to season 2017 especially as he's been injured.

For a bloke who, once again, apparently hasn't had a pre-season, he looks in ripping nick. He's started the year excellently and has proved now that he's our most important forward. A 60 goal season wouldn't be beyond him this year imo.

Might be a tough day for tall fwds to tomorrow if Bellerive wind from South gets up, and likely a bit slippery.

Still, if we take our chances in midfield can still kick plenty of goals.

He has started both games this year really well, dies out a little late but so does the rest of the team. Hopefully he can sustain 4 quarters because he'll need to if we are any chance.

Played like his hands were made of jelly.

Normally would have gloved most of those balls.

Had ******* shite delivery, but still, did badly with the things he could control.

Oh well, not alone nor any chance of losing his place.

I think Brown would be better suited as a tall defender. I know this is something the club experimented with over the pre-season.
