He's need to break 150 goals to make AA. And even then it would be because he pLayz 4 frEE K1cks lol

Watch him kick 70 goals next year to go along with 20 assists and be left out of the team because he only laid three shepherds.

Pardon the intrusion i reckon browny is going to be the dominant forward along with cameron for the next 5 or so years. Not many players have that agility or leap for a 200cm bloke and with a better midfield in 2020 you guys Have built a pretty good spine for another premiership assault in the not so distant future. Good luck

I have just had a look at the You Tube of Browny’s 64 goals this year. Stats are:

25 from marks on the lead or in space
10 contested marks
8 in general play
21 free kicks

The 21 free kicks are broken down to:

12 in marking contest
3 holding the ball
2 ruck
1 tackled incorrectly
1 OOF
1 50
1 held down field

Browns the perfect lead up forward. He’s deadly accurate in front of goals and opposition players have to infringe to try and stop him.

on the flip side to this he needs to take more contested marks pack marks or we need someone else up front to take the number 1 role and let brown do damage as a 2nd key.

Which I think is perfect for him, as one out, it would leave him pretty much unstoppable if the defensive is worried about another forward.

Larkey Im looking at you.

Funny how back in 2017, Tarrant, Higgins and Brown weren’t good enough to make the All Australian team, yet they turned to our players so that could participate in that that piece of s*** IRS game. If Brown kicks 80 goals, gets 20 assists and receives less free kicks, he still won’t make it. The All Australian team is based off reputation, not how well they played during the season. Maybe the selectors just don’t like his style of play, or his haircut.

Highly doubt that. He is a full forward. He wins the coleman, he probably makes the team.

For players on our team to get any due recognition in the form of awards such as AA, the team has to play dominant football for any of the outside to take notice. This is a reality of being a North Melbourne player. Ben Brown with 65 goals on a North that finished top four would be AA. Brown with 65 goals on a side that finished 12th is meh. That, or gotta win the Coleman.

Tom Hawkins won the Coleman did he?
No, Cameron did. He made the side. Likewise Riewoldt the year before that and Franklin the year before that. The original discussion was that if brown wins the coleman he probably wouldnt make the side. I disagreed. Cheers

Bad enough that he’s in doubt for rd 1

It's a throwaway line in a newspaper.

They don't have a clue until the club states that or they get a medical report.
