Balta —> Gray in every way football related. People have short memories about how good Balta is.

I don’t mind that Gray goes back to there VFL to further develop his craft down back. He’ll get AFL games, just needs to keep banging the door down.

Sure, ordinarily. Not this year, Balta has been average at best apart from 1 game. Clearly he needs the consistency at afl level to build form but he cant get that.

Sorry to intrude, but how was he dropped? Play him forward if Balta is back, the kid’s versatile and a potential 200 gamer.

TheCattery2007 has every right to ask that question. The answer, who knows, has deserved to remain in the side after the two games he’s played, one of which he was subbed off. Hopefully, his injury today isn’t too bad. I haven’t seen it yet. Come back stronger then ever has a bright future. As for playing him forward not a bad idea next year.

With grays exposed form , I don’t think it should have taken much imagination to use Balta forward or alternately gray could play forward . Hoping for the best that cambo s knee isnt serious , got high hopes for this kid

Even at that, it means he gets a full pre season ahead of 2026.

Depends if grade 1 or 2 injury but shouldn’t be more than about 6 weeks, plus some vfl time to gain confidence and form.

The fact a terrible bend in the knee like that is always less time out than an ACL is crazy. If only ACLs weren't a thing

Yeah agree. 21 years old, super athletic and has proven himself at both ends (back AFL & VFL and forward VFL). You have to sign that up and develop him.

I think the announcement probably comes soon.
