50m rule... what is happening with it, a while ago it was the flavour of the month, but today the hawks players stayed on melbourne, or in the case of when it was melbournes frees and buddy tried to run away with it.

I dunno... it just would be good to have consistency

You want 50 because a bloke takes a few steps with the ball? There was probably one where your bloke got held onto a little long and Jordy Lewis took one of your boys to ground when he didn't have to, but it was still in the contest.
I think that was the key, as long as they're in the contest they can hold them up a little more than if they just run in a grab a bloke.
