If we where right on players two years into their careers, biff would have been justified seeing Jones delisted

Disco Turner also would have been gone years ago along with Chandler

You’re trying to compare a top 10 pick with rookies/MSD players. Generally players go top 10 because they are already performing, ready to make an impact. Not many clubs would choose long term project players in the top 10.

Yes, 18 year old kids are picked purely for immediate impact, whereas mature age VFL types are taken in the MSD to be long term project players... Wowee.

Hey, he chose to compare them. I was just responding. 🤷‍♂️
No one brought up goals at VFL/AFL level as a relevant metric comparison.

I'm gonna tap out from your posts again now, silly me getting sucked into this trash.

What about disposals? Or are you cherry picking half my post as usual.

How would you best compare Windsor vs Lasers year?

For the love of god, please just start using the ignore function.
I'm enjoying watching this back and forth between Nev and himself.

I reckon they did Windsor a disservice by bringing him back after a stint at Casey when he was hardly tearing it up in his VFL games.

Maybe he did display whatever it was that they wanted him to at VFL level? But his disposal was pretty scrappy even with the greater time and space afforded at VFL level and he only found the ball a moderate amount for someone who was given lots of midfield minutes.

Finally I’m petty sure he copped a heavy knock quite early after coming on against North. That wouldn’t have helped matters.

Just another one of those from the outside baffling player development and team selection events.

Yeah, his development this year has been shocking. Clearly a bad error to try play him back, kills his confidence. OK you drop him, no issue with that as hopefully he plays midfield at vfl level. You then recall him off two middling games and play him as the sub? How the **** is he meant to develop? Would rather play Sharp as sub all year and give Windsor actual gametime in his best position.

His kicks are mostly lobs, that with his kicking while running at full pelt is how he measures up to Hunt. Those who say he is a good kick need to watch Mckercher or Wanganeen-Milera play and watch how they accumulate and bullet pass kicks into the corridor.

Don’t get me wrong, Hunt in his prime was hot property, was a period he was booting goals from outside 50 on the regular.

I just don’t think when we had a chance to really add some top line talent that throwing all our eggs into another wingman was the right choice when we already have Langdon, Billings, Howes, Salem, Woewodin, Hunter and even Tomlinson who we brought in to play wing.

Windsor will be good but when our inside core drops away we will be exposed pretty quickly on the inside. Our next gen of inside mids like Sparrow and Laurie arnt filling me with confidence.

Or a key back man like O'Sullivan or Curtin would have filled a need with our key backs on there last legs. But nope, let’s use it on another wingman when we have plenty already.
Dude, you nailed it. We both nailed it. Unfortunately. Windsor ain't going to be elite. I'd be happy if he just got to Jayden Hunt and I mean that with all respect.

The few kicks he had when he was forward were very good. Found both Kozzy and Salem laterally when no one else was doing so. His kicks from the backline were poor. Wonder what the common thread there is? I'm sure someone must have thought of it before...

Salem was a fluke, there was no way that was aimed at Salem. You also forgot to mention the Out on the foul, the one which boomed over Max’s head or the missed shot on goal 10m out without pressure.

Kozzie one I will give him but he needs more than 1 a match. Even Spargo puts up those type of numbers.
